Stayed the night in order to do the nearby 4 waterfalls walk. Had a Sunday lunch with them, not only was it delicious, but there was a good amount of it - even after the 5 hour walk we felt full! Clean, well appointed room and an absolutely fantastic breakfast. Recommended.
My son performed here last night and it was the nicest welcome we have had. Our friends had the food and said it was great and the locals made us feel like one of them. Highly recommend
Nice place to stay especially for the price! The bar tenders were good and the breakfast was amazing! Good fish and chips. Most of the patrons were good but there was definitely a local crowd that was sometimes a bit rough and unpleasant. Overall a good experience and will return.
We spent one night there. Spacious room, nice and clean. Friendly atmosphere. The owner is a very nice man. If we weren't so tired we would definitely go into the pub downstairs, it seems cool.
Can't say enough of this lovely pub. Fantastic good, wonderful, high quality food at a more than reasonable price. I had the standard carvery which left me stuffed! The staff were brilliant, friendly and efficient! To summarise, check out this traditionally English resteraunt for an amazing experi
The food was delicious. The peas were so tasty, the chips are proper homemade and my son said the chicken was the nicest he had ever tasted.
Lovely little local pub on the main road. Friendly staff and colourful locals. Live music often at the weekend, reasonable prices

This place is brilliant. The staff is welcoming and nice the food is excellent and it comes in big portions, and the accomodation is clean and tidy and the rooms are warm and large. I feel so good here that i would always preffer this location over any premier inn or this kind of hotel. I highly rec
Great pub! Locals are a good laugh, big beer garden out back (perfect for those sunny days)
Had an amazing time with family, unfortunately a funeral but we were looked after we'll by the staff and locals. There was a great buffet on for us and was all seated in a great area. The rooms were brilliant, clean tidy and very spacious. Also had an en suite bathroom, very large for a hotel room.
This is a no frills hotel which offers excellent value for money and it's clearly the best the area has to offer. We stayed here for 2 nights; the room was large and clean, but basic. We were welcomed warmly and the staff were attentive (the little fluffy pub dog in particular is lovely). The break
Stopped off at The Lamb & Flag for a late lunch. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, probably the best pub lunch I've ever had. The mixed grill was cooked to perfection,, quality meat and plenty of it. The chips were hand cut, crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy
Lovely food, nice family atmosphere, staff very friendly and helpful
Beautiful food..very friendly staff also
Great value for money! Lovely facilities and comfy beds. Great breakfast options - we were given the option of a hot breakfast but opted for cereal, and were given juice and other continental pieces as well. We also had dinner in the restaurant in the evening and the food was good. They do some very
