What a great place to find the food and service was excellent and served quickly and well presented. Plenty of king prawns in both the stater and main the vegetable curry was delicious.
Approaching the restaurant nearly put me off from going in, but I was very pleasantly surprised once the food arrived. An absolute delight, in my opinion, and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it. Great job, Vietnam Yummy. We will be back again soon..
The best Vietnamese in Gloucester, it’s very authentic and affordable. The staffs are lovely and efficient. I am very satisfied with the experience. The Vietnamese coffee is a must-try, the rich taste of the drink with condensed milk is unforgettable!
Authentic, simple, and cozy Vietnamese restaurant.
The food was tasty and flavorful, with many vegan options; portion sizes were reasonably priced. The service was gentle and kind.
The only issue was that although we specifically asked for the starters first, we received the main course altogether while waiting for one of the starters for more than 20 minutes after the others arrived, as it didn't go through the kitchen (which happens sometimes). Yet, in that case, you would expect that the restaurant will take some responsibility and take it off the bill or offer a complimentary dessert to value the customer's time and dining experience.

The food is fabulous. If you’ve not tried Vietnamese food yet, but you like Chinese you will like Vietnamese. It’s tasty and a little different. It’s nice to be able to add your own sauce, plus there on the table there are other options to add to you food to your taste, like Soy, fish sauce, pickled ginger, chilli, garlic etc. it’s really good, nice people, very welcoming. Really good restaurant. Highly recommended
Food was great! I ordered mango salad, summer roll, Pho, fried glass noodle and 2 iced coffee, all of them are really tasty! 🤤 im sure will come back again! 👍🏻
Right off the bat the restaurant had a very calming atmosphere, and we were attended to swiftly. Almost immediately after placing our order our food arrived - which was delicious! All the workers were extremely polite . Would most definitely come again !
Some of the best vietnamese food we've had! The beef and chicken are both halal. The vietnamese iced coffees are a must along with the squid. The service was good and staff very friendly. If you're visiting Gloucester and are on the hunt for halal food, look no further and come to VIET YUMMY

Freshly cooked and well presented all our dishes tasted delicious. Chicken curry was delicate and full of flavour. Childrens chicken noodles incredibly tasty. Seafood fried rice exeptional !

Went for lunch on a weekday - the service was great and the food was delicious! We ate a good range of stuff and it was all tasty, the prices were very reasonable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back for more!
Don't be afraid to try. Food was amazing. Had salt and pepper chicken and banh mi. Excellent fresh food. Highly recommend. Prices are very reasonable also.
A hidden gem in Gloucester town centre. Fantastic traditional pho, tasted really nice and very similar to home made pho I've had before in the past. Can't wait to return and try more dishes on the menu!
Great lunch, the crispy deep fried squid was very good. Not so keen on the lemongrass dish.

Food came quickly but not too quickly, it was a nice wait without any sense of pressure or stress. The service was quick and responsive to our requests and also mindful of our space and not breathing down our necks.
More on the food, I think my personal tastes aren't quite accustomed to the saltiness but in all fairness I did add a little to much soy sauce to my dish so I will take responsibility for that. All in all, the food here is excellent and have a very affordable price for what I am getting which is always appreciated.
A small note on the atmosphere, I personally loved it, it was quiet and the music was appropriate, which I find to really push the notion that I am here to relax and enjoy fresh wok fried food.
As expected from vietnamese food, very tasty with fresh ingredients. The dining area and customer toilet are bright and very clean. The lady who served us was very lovely and thank you for being so patient with us that we kept talking and forgot to look at the menu to order our food. All in all a pleasant experience, highly recommended!
Delicious, healthy, fresh food, reasonably priced. I always enjoy the flavours. The service was friendly and attentive but haphazard with the delivery, mains before starters and it didn't flow efficiently. It was very busy to b fair which is always a good sign. Didn't put me off enough to not come back, Kev wasn't there, maybe that was it but all the staff tried their best!
