We were looking at the showhouses in the village, & needed lunch.
Great pub, good menu & tasty well presented food. I can imagine the Sunday Carvery must be fab. Might travel back up to try it sometime!!

Our steak was cooked to perfection and our burger was delicious. Very friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. Absolutely no complaints about this place. Great place for lunch or dinner if you are nearby.
Staff all very professional, but friendly and polite. Meals served soon after ordering, atmosphere good, in bar was music,which we could hear,but not overpowering. 9 of us had a lovely, enjoyable afternoon.
Absolutely beautiful meal as seen in photo's. EMPTY plates. Good service happy staff. Lovely place to have a meal out.

Went for some dinner on a Tuesday night, so it was not as busy as Friday or Saturday. Food and service were still great, with the barman not getting too annoyed when I ordered Guinness after the other drinks 😅
We went 1 lunch time we had a lovely meal we sat up the top of the stairs only a couple of tables being used a few people down by the bar lots of choice of food and drinks and they do lovely ice cream in tubs . Outside its got a big barn for smokers or just sit out on over cast day also a play grou
Great pub food and friendly staff. The two courses for £10 are great if they still do this. The picture below is the chilli beef nacho starter. Really nice to sit outside to eat in the summer, the kids can play in the park aswell. They also do a carvery at Fagins, which is nice.

This pub came top of my search for "best carvery" in Gloucester and did not disappoint, lovely pink beef, fabulous Yorkshire pudding, crispy roast potatoes, roast parsnips and a good selection of vegetables. Followed by fabulous chocolate fudge cake. Highly recommended.
We were a large group. Service was excellent, all meals came out together very quickly after ordering.
Great family restaurant. Tasty Sunday dinner and super reasonable kids meals!
