Always love a walk along the canal, especially on a bright sunny afternoon, and to pop into The Stables for a hot coffee or tea accompanied by a piece of cake. The banana 🍌 crumble cake is especially good. Always very clean and the staff are very pleasant. It's also very popular and busy, so pick y

Lovely lunch in the garden under the shade of a huge umbrella. Jacket potatoes were large, hot and well-filled. The filling (sweet chilli chicken and cheese) was delicious and came with a salad garnish that was fresh and cold. San Pellegrino orange and lemon available which was very refreshing. We w
Lovely place next to the canal that serves great breakfasts and cakes, there's a garden and patio, dogs are welcome outside. Be prepared to wait for hot food, 30 minutes even when quiet, in busy periods after 11:00 allow 20 minutes to queue to be served and another 45 for food but it's a lovely to
Great little vegan sandwich and chips. Soy milk available as well as other alternatives. Outdoor seating and dog friendly.
Lovely little place to stop whilst walking down the canal. Food is great and the cake selection is epic.

Friendly staff, good range of quality food & lovely setting. Rather annoying you have to pay to park given it’s in the middle of nowhere.
Seeing some other posts complaining, for £7:95 for a cooked breakfast and a mug of tea, I can see no reason to moan. Hash brown was maybe a little over done, but THAT IS IT. Great location and I can see in the summer will be very popular especially with the roof top balcony overlooking the canal.
Really lovely breakfast with great coffee.
friendly staff good beers nice view and relaxing... ...my favorite spot
