Queens Head - Gloucester - Photo album

Staff were very friendly, food was absolutely amazing, we had the Longford Lamb (About the size of an actual lamb!) And the steak with peppercorn sauce for mains then the lemon meringue pie and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. I really struggled to walk home after!
Best Sunday lunch in Gloucester! We love it here. The food is amazing, great selection of drinks and great service. Would highly recommend!!
Absolutely outstanding. Fantastic traditional pub with cosy atmosphere. We had a party of 9 for a special birthday and the team looked after us incredibly well. Food was different class, well presented and all incredible. Massive portions!!! Well done all at Queens Head. Highly recommend.
Great pub with very friendly staff. The pub is extremely dog friendly.
Massive thank you to the staff for squeezing us in last minute because we forgot to book. Food and drink were amazing, atmosphere good and staff friendly. If we ever stay around the area again we'll be sure to pop in.
Really nice Sunday roast on fathers day. The gravy is fantastic and a really generous amount of food.
The food and service were fantastic. We hadn't been for years but will coming back very soon!
First time we've eaten here and we weren't disappointed. A warm welcome and a delicious sunday roast awaited us - plenty of choice, generous portion sizes, hot and tasty food!
We were a table of ten and they could not do enough for us. Constantly asked for drinks and the food all came out at the same time. Food tasted great, not the best I’ve had but overall a great experience. Will go back for a Sunday dinner.
Second time I've had the same dish here and its both quality and quantity - a large portion of deliciousness. Hearty, homemade, very tasty food. Disappointing wine though.
It was very nice. Had the lamb which was very tasty and big. Although it was very fatty. I didn't mind but others in my party found it difficult to separate the meat. The portion sizes are very generous, desserts are huuuuge! Most prices are fairly reasonable but the lamb is very over priced. Seems
The staff are absolutely lovely here. Friendly and efficient. The food was real food not some "ping n serve" rubbish. I had the pie and it was huge ! Crammed full of tender meat and lovely pastry (not a lid pie either!) I would recommend booking a table as ot filled up very quickly.
Surprised me. Food is large portions and well cooked. Staff friendly and welcoming. A stop to visit inside is a must.
Excellent pub with a chic, modern look. Staff are really friendly and attentive - feel like a local right away. Food portions very generous and tasty! My new firm favourite!
Lovely sunday roast, have been here several times. Can't fault it, good food and portion size.
This was my first visit. A relative who lives just around the corner said it was a good eatery so we booked a Family table. It didn't disappoint. Their menu isn't huge, (which I'm pleased about) as some establishments fail whilst trying to do too much. A selection of six starters is enough. The stea
Had a booking for 6.30 Wednesday. Food was excellent and so was the service. Busy and friendly atmosphere. Birthday treat. Thank you will visir again 🥰
Three of us had mains courses of beef, sole and steak and ale pie followed by desserts of lemon meringue, banoffi and rum and raisin cheesecake. Five stars for each dish , service and atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Very good value . This gastro pub is worth taking a detour for to be guaranteed a de
