I believe Glossop Tesco staff are up there with the best in the country, they are friendly, remember who you are and genuinely have a smile and kind word towards you. I often go in late due to work and the night shift always let on and are helpful even though they are trying to face up. The only downside is Sophie who is a sulky faced little madam who gives the impression she is doing you a favour serving you but can't win them all! Thumbs up Tesco Glossop

Wonderful! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Took my order in a nice mannor and made me feel very welcome from the start. Plenty of seating to choose from. I ordered a breakfast and Tea, both were amazing. Plenty of food at this Cafe! Compared to the last Tesco cafe (where I had more fingers then beans on the plate) this really bumped up my recommendation for Tesco Cafes.
The food here is honestly the best I've had at any Tesco Cafe and I'm quite the Tesco breakfast person when traveling. You can tell it was made with love rather then thrown together and launched at you. Plenty of beans, egg was perfect with a nice runny yolk, bacon was not too fatty like most places, hash browns were out of this world (share your secrets please) and toast was perfect. Honestly it was like was waking up on a Sunday morning running down stairs to see your mother has made you a English breakfast!
My only issue that could be completely down to me as it was my choice. The table in the back corner. It's very low - like when in the seat my knees are higher so it made eating a little uncomfortable. Looking around through there is only one other table like this so in the end it was my choice, but would be wonderful if it it was just a tad bit higher!
Overall if you are like me and staying in the Stockport area wondering which Tesco Cafe should I head over for breakfast then choose this one. I'm saving this location for next time I'm down south as honestly it was worth every second, penny and full stomach!
Great food, great staff, will be back , especially for the full English.
Mostly really nice, had one disappointing experience but generally I find it really cosy and enjoy their lattes more than those from major coffee shop chains
