Went to the Restaurant upstairs in the Queens Head pub and ordered a delivery of 5 main dishes and other sides for 3 of us. All of us loved each dish very generous portions and all delicious. Definitely recommended
My first time eating Indian Food, all l can say was it was simply delicious! I will be trying this cuisine back home in Canada.
Lovely food and great service as well. Lamb Bhuna was fantastic
In my view this is the best "curry house" in Glossop. It is located above the Queens pub which has a decent selection of beer which Queen Spice takes advantage of
We have eaten here a number of times and never been disappointed as the food has always been great. We have also used Queen Spice as our default takeaway and again have never been disappointed
The restaurant was unbelievably busy with a very large party on our latest visit. Despite this we were well looked after and our food arrived as expected....no big waits
Excellent food and superb beer from downstairs pub
Best curry house in Glossop. They must have an a amazing chef here, all dishes are very tasty, well cooked, well presented and you would never be left hungry or disappointed, this place really is full marks. Love the shadow on the wall from the lighting....
Delicious food without a doubt. We were on holiday and stayed locally so I ordered in advance and it was bang on time, with the added bonus of free poppadums. It was that good I ordered a Christmas Day takeaway, still the same quality despite a restaurant full of happy diners.
Well recommended to all lovers of Indian food.
Don't usually review but just had a takeaway and definitely up there with the best . Thoroughly enjoyed flavour was amazing compliments to the chef 🙌
Really lovely Indian food.
Arguably the highest quality Indian restaurant in the area. Ruchi previously was considered the best, but Queen Spice are way ahead. All the dishes you would expect, but with a range of specials different to many other restaurants.
I've lived in Birmingham and eaten in some of the highest rated restaurants in the curry triangle, and Queens is on a par. Fresh spices and delicate flavours (you can taste each ingredient in a dish) which makes a standard curry a great one.
Visiting, you can grab a drink in Old Glossop's Queens Arms before your meal, then sit in comfortable surroundings for a delicious meal. Takeaway is quick to order and generally arriving in good time.
Worth a visit or delivery.
Visited Glossop for a few days and was recommended this place by a friend. Best curry I have had in a long time, and for a very fair price. Wish I had somewhere as good as this near me!
Excellent food and friendly staff 👌

We found ourselves in Queen Spice by mistake when we were staying at the pub in which the restaurant is located and were greeted rather coldly. However, we're very pleased that we decided to stay and eat there. Neither of us enjoys very hot and spicy food but the menu offered us plenty of choice. When our food arrived it proved to be very much to our liking and we both cleared our plates with enthusiasm!
As is often the case with oriental restaurants, the choice of desserts was limited and those we chose had been bought in rather than prepared in the Queen Spice kitchen. Even so, they were acceptable.
The restaurant has pleasant decor and once we were settled the staff were friendly and efficient.
Potential diners should know that the restaurant is on the first floor of the building and we were not aware of a lift so it seems necessary to be able to manage a flight of stairs.
