Completed a hike around Glossop / Peak District area so stopped by to have dinner there. It was very busy and we didn't have a reservation but the staff were lovely and accommodated us. I ordered their Sunday Roast lamb. Everything was excellent and portion was decent. Reasonable price. Friendly a

Eaten here twice before and enjoyed the food. Cheese and onion pie good and husband thought sausage and mash also good. Did have a wait for food but rather have freshly cooked than microwaved ping food. Kirsty served us and was very pleasant and friendly. Good atmosphere though not keen on all the

Fantastic pub, with very tasty food, we were just passing through and needed a rest and some food and drink. The staff are very welcoming especially Kirsty. She went above and beyond to chat to us even though she was very busy serving other customers.

We happened upon this place by chance. Glad we did. Excellent food, lovely staff. No car park though but parking in nearby streets was fine.

Really nice food, very very friendly staff, so glad we stumbled on this place before we embarked on our walk.

Friendly, local pub , dogs allowed and children, serving fresh home cooked food( saw it being served but not eaten it). 3 hand pulled beers. Outside seating on pavement and parking on street.

Occasional bands in the upper room. On this occasion it was the Dirt Road Band who were excellent.

All the staff are great and I've just had the best Steak and Ale pie I've had in a long time. Superb! Also must add that they fitted the two of us in when the pub was very busy 👍

Went here for Sunday lunch. Good food & excellent service. We had a reserved table & so I recommend this as the pub is very busy. Bar staff very helpful. Will return.
