Popped in here on spur of the moment and very glad we did. The landlady was lovely and accommodating. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious...highly recommend the homemade salted caramel cheesecake.

On holiday, we were looking for a somewhere to have some late lunch (3.30?) Most places seemed to have lunch or dinner service but Wheatsheaf had a longer lunch service so decided to give it a go. We have visited The Wheatchief many times. Each time the food has been amazing and the staff have been very friendly. I would recommend this pub for a quiet meal.

Loved the cute and cosy ambiance. Had the most cheerful loveliest young lady serving us called Alia, she made our visit very enjoyable. Compliments to the chef Dane for the juiciest beef burger, well seasoned steaks, crunchiest fries and best onion rings I've ever had. We will definitely visit again
