Popped in here on spur of the moment and very glad we did. The landlady was lovely and accommodating. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious...highly recommend the homemade salted caramel cheesecake. Well worth a visit

We have visited The Wheatchief many times. Each time the food has been amazing and the staff have been very friendly. I would recommend this pub for a quiet meal.

Amazing Greek food ! Cooked by an excellent chef Highly recommend ! Very friendly management!
Loved the cute and cosy ambiance. Had the most cheerful loveliest young lady serving us called Alia, she made our visit very enjoyable. Compliments to the chef Dane for the juiciest beef burger, well seasoned steaks, crunchiest fries and best onion rings I've ever had. We will definitely visit again
We have not been to the Wheatsheaf for a while now but really fancied a home cooked Sunday dinner. Then up popped a picture on Facebook showing the dinners and we couldnt resist. Booked a table with the family and we loved it. From my 5 year old to my mum (in her 80s but best not let the world know

The best pub dining experience. We felt very welcome from first moment we entered the pub. We were seated and served with drinks instantly. Food was delicious and very good presented. All staff was very friendly and tried to do everything to make us feel comfortable. All was very clean. Thank you so
Great place for authentic and proper pub food. The chef is very friendly, just as those serving food. Very generous servings, I recommend the pulled pork burger and fish and chips... To finish with the sticky toffee pudding!
