It was my husbands 60th so quite a large group, the pub was very busy as always, the staff are amazing, they never stop, the food was brought to our table hot and delicious, a mix of carverys and daily menu, they let me bring my own cake which they presented better than i ever could have for dessert
The landlord is always cheerful and welcoming. The food is delicious, especially the steak pie which you have to have with the buttery mash. Homemade pizzas are always nice too and highly recommend the Sunday lunch. Great pub with friendly staff and very tasty food.
Just perfect ! I love this pub so much that we went there 3 times in a week during our holidays. The food is delicious, portion are perfect. Sunday roast is amazing (I had the nut roast). Kids love it too. The pie, fish n chips, roasted vegetable lasagna and chocolat brownie are really nice too🤣. I
Great meal for our farms Christmas meal. From start to finish, the food was first-rate. Returned this weekend for the best fish and chips I've had in years. Don't miss the chance for some great food
A beautiful pub in a little village easily accessible from the local antiques compound and from Grimsby. The landlord and staff were so friendly and it was so lovely to have food come out of the kitchen piping hot and fresh. It was a nice change from city centre restaurants where your food can be un

Both meals were fantastic, the meat cooked perfectly and the same goes for everything else on a plate (beautiful Yorkshire pudding, crispy but fresh chips for burger and potatoes for roast). Both the owner (I think) and the young la

A really nice village pub. Staff are very friendly, they always have a good selection of cask ales on tap. The food is very nice, it has a great atmosphere no matter on the time visiting. Couldn't ask anything more of a village pub!
Surprisingly nice pub. Doesn't look much from the outside and is right on the main road, but inside is nice and cosy. An interesting menu with good options for vegetarians. Tuesday night is pizza night, which I had, and was lovely. Mrs was similarly impressed with her pie. This is our third visit a
Lovely pub, fab food and the bar manager was just awesome she went above and beyond. We went for my sisters 60th birthday and they let us take a cake and even brought it out for us to have instead of dessert. Came away feeling very happily full and would highly recommend this pub. They were reco
Nice homely feeling, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff, good variety on the menu. Food was presented well, hot and tasty with very reasonable portion sizes. Pricing reflected the homemade coleslaw and hand cut chips which were lovely. Lovely to see a proper coffee machine at the bar instead of
