Would love to thank Drummond steak house aka laurel bank for there hospitality customer service was excellent also food was brilliant not just from me and my newly wife but from all our wedding guests. Buffet was good to the point it was all eaten by our evening guest. So to some up excellent service staff very friendly and made our day very special thanks for doing a great job

Had dinner here the other night....for the first time in a long time im ashamed to say, but food was great, very accommodating with the way the meals were cooked (friend I was with had some dietary requirements I believe) Giving us great delight in knowing the the food is freshly cooked. Very Politte staff, and had some good banter with the younger lad who was on. Will be back :-)
I visited and stayed at laurel bank in 2013 and the service was good, and efficient. The breakie waitress at the time I remember was good at her job and were able to have many conversations with each morning when getting breakfast.
Had a delicious lunch, will definitely be back xxx

had a really nice evening tonight for my daughters birthday food as always was amazing, staff were great and very helpfull :).
Went for an afternoon tea recently. Very impressed, the food was delicious and fresh. Looking forward to going back again and trying the boozy brunch. Great selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls, cakes & scones.
Only comment I would have is the staff could have been more attentive. They were busy, and we had to keep asking for more tea, instead of it being left for us to pour ourselves. Not a complaint though as nothing was too much trouble just a suggestion. I had wanted to try a cocktail but we weren't asked if we'd like another drink so didn't bother. Will definitely try when I go back for a boozy brunch though.
Fantastic hotel, I can't say a bad word about this place. Customer service was the best I have ever had at a hotel, the food was amazing and wasn't expensive.
The room was clean and big so no complaints with the room.
I will be staying here again when working in Scotland.
Did not try the cooked breakfast as I was leaving early for my jobs but they did open the breakfast early for me so I could have it before my 7 hour drive.
Great hotel and restaurant a must stay for me or even for lunch as the food is amazing.
We decided to try a cream tea at The Laurel Bank Hotel.
We always take my Mother and Father in Law for coffee during the week. They really look forward to this.
However our usual venue Balbirnie House Hotel had a wedding on and we couldn't have our coffee in the garden as usual.
So, as we were driving in Markinch, I spotted some tables and chairs outside the Laurel Bank Hotel and thought we'd give it a try.
We ordered a cream tea for 4.
The coffee plus warmed scones with cream and jam on individual plates plus a large slice of Choc Orange Cake as I chose a cake instead were freshly made and melt in the mouth, absolutely delicious.
The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us.
We could sit outside in the sunshine as there are plenty of comfy seats and tables.
It was a good find.
Plus £5 per head. Very reasonable priced.
Well definitely be back!

Food and service was excellent. Very fast and efficient with a friendly smile and chat. The four of us all had different meals and they were all hot, very tasty and well presented. Good value for money at £10 to £15 for a main meal. Steak is obviously more. Highly recommend !
The staff here are so lovely, they’re friendly and polite and nothing is to much trouble for them, and the majority of the staff that we dealt with were young and a credit to your venue. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The food is well cooked and very nice and hot when it arrived at your table has was the breakfast. There were 2 issues that we had while staying at laurel bank and that was the shower! it had no pressure to it, and because I’ve got long ish hair this was a little issue! The handy man did come out but couldn’t solve the problem and there were no other rooms available to move to. The other issue that I myself had was there was no mirror by the desk/ dressing table which was difficult to apply makeup with poor lighting. But having an iron and ironing board in the room was very handy.
If we every come up to Scotland again I would definitely book here
I attended a 50th birthday party here in the function room at the side. Huge room with its own bar and toilets. Bar service was excellent and plenty staff clearing away used glasses quickly. Toilets were clean tho a couple had loose toilet seats ( could've happened on the night)

My husband and I have just stayed the last 2 nights here in room 5 we found the room really clean and the bed very comfortable and slept well. The staff was very nice especially the 2 young lads working in the dinning room we ate in hotel both nights the food was lovely my husband had the sirloin steak which was cooked perfectly to his liking and I had the steak pie which was really nice was full of tender pieces of meat in it. The hotel is really good value for money couldn't fault it at tall had a very enjoyable stay thank you.
Lovely food. Nachos and veggie fajitas were excellent. My wife and kids loved their food as well. Service brilliant, staff very helpful. Good selection of beers as well.

General service is stretched and stressed then relaxed when not overly busy, standard issues. But...
Martini Cocktails on tap is like an adult version of tango ice blast.
Very nice hotel, staff very friendly and accommodating. We were staying for a wedding nearby so timings were a bit awkward with normal check-in times but the staff went over and above to get our rooms ready much earlier than normal. Food was lovely too and really good value. Wish more hotels were like this!
Nice hotel, breakfast lovely, nice outdoor seating area, room was ok, bed a bit uncomfortable and no mattress protector on it. TV was bigger than average. Iron and iron board available, large full-length mirror in room. Bathroom with shower and lovely bathing products available to use.
Staff are excellent, very well trained, very polite. We had a late lunch /early tea, steak pie. Very good. Condiments were kept full and clean. All in all, excellent.
Great dinner on two occassions this week..fast service and nice friendly staff.accomodated our 2 wee dogs.
Had a meal here at latter part of the evening. Fitted my wife and myself in with no trouble. Excellent food and service. Highly recommend...
Lovely little gem out in the sticks - reasonable price for drinks, bar staff are very attentive and efficient. Downside was my wife and kids having to tolerate Scottish Declan making a mockery of everyone by creating TikToks during supper service.
We enjoyed a wonderful evening! Drinks were amazing and the Hotel Staff was incredibly nice!! Only one Influencer always made Tiktoks and danced around, made me very uncomfortable! :/ Other than him, great place!!
