Lovely food. Great service. Serving staff were really friendly and quick on the tables.
Was in the Area so decided to pull in here for some Late Lunch. We wasn't disapointed. The food was Amazing, and tasty and cooked perfectly. Prices were average and the Service was really good. We was offered to sit in the adult section were kids were not permitted. This was ideal for us. And made it a greater experience. Would definatly reccomend this place for food.

Stopped off for a quick bite after visiting the garden centre close by, we had a party of 14, they where very accommodating for us - turned a couple of tables around to fit us all in. We had starters instead of a full meal which where tasty, but the chillis where very spicy! Not complaining though, its just rare to get chilli's that fresh!
I have been here many times now and each time my experience has been top notch. Staff are fantastic and go above and beyond. Food is exceptional! Highly recommend one of their burgers, roast dinners or on this occasion I had the steak n ale pie - ohh myy it was soo good. Had a sharing Platter and even got my picky husband to try the calamari!!
For the little ones there is the dragons den soft play next door. My son (now 3) loves it!
A very pleasant surprise. Since moving to the area just under a year ago, we hadn't yet found the time to visit the George and Dragon but are kicking ourselves for not going sooner. The staff were incredibly friendly and food was phenomenal.
The Korean BBQ chicken strips on the shared starter were absolutely delicious.
Empty plates say a lot about good food! Children well catered for with lots of highchairs available, good play pack for £1.50 and a grab machine that you continue playing until you win a prize - for £1! Lots of outside seating and a children's play area too!
Overall, our experience here was enjoyable. The space was clean and roomy, and we appreciated being seated away from families with children. Additionally, there were ample parking spots available, which made the visit convenient. Our meals were quite enjoyable, especially the sirloin steak, which I had. One aspect that could be improved is the service. Despite the hostesses bringing us more drinks, they seemed reluctant to collect our empty glasses, even though they had an empty tray to take them away. As a result, the table became congested with empty cups and glasses, making it challenging to enjoy our food fully. Overall, we had a pleasant dining experience at the pub and would recommend it to others. The space was clean, the food was tasty, and the coffee was great. If the service improved, it would be an even more enjoyable experience.
Brilliant service, food was lovely. Grandchildren enjoyed the play area. I found it strange we had to pay for the Jungle Jim when we were eating at the establishment so was in and out of there when food had arrived in the pub area. Children enjoyed themselves which was the what we wanted.
Really nice food second visit today would recommend this venue there's something for everyone's taste service is also brilliant nothing to much at all will be back again soon
Lovely place. Apart from a young waitress nobody else was there. So if you like the quiet life fill yer britches!
This place has a nice outside seating area . The food was good I had Tikka Masala, not too spicy. The apple blackberry crumble was Delicious! Nice fun play area kids
Visited The George and Dragon after shopping at Bents garden centre. It was lovely and the staff were great, we sat outside in the beer garden and our grandson played on the outdoor play area. The menu is extensive, and the food was delicious, and we will definitely be returning soon
