I took a part of women here when we were on a retreat. Everyone had a wonderful meal, everyone was catered for from vegans to true carnivores. Excellent service and good value for money.

Lovely relaxed place to grab a drink, food and to chill out. We had Belgium Wheat beer and a session Pale Ale. They even cooked us some chips even though the kitchen was closed. Dogs allowed. Edit - just been back for a Sunday Roast. It is the BEST roast beef I have ever had.

We had a delicious roast dinner here on Sunday. We both had roast beef and we couldn’t fault any of it - plenty of meat and really tasty veg!

What a fantastic little find! I’m so happy to say this burger was the best burger I’ve ever had in my whole life, and I’ve tried many burgers! Great service and nice atmosphere, loved all the different Edison bulbs and decor! Lots of parking outside

I booked a table for 10 people for an 80th birthday party. The venue were very helpful right from the start, allowing me to drop a cake and helium balloon off during the day. On arrival this balloon was duly on the table just as hoped. Other venues I spoke to either wouldn’t allow a cake, or would allow a cake but then wouldn’t allow it to be actually eaten on their site. This venue had no such restrictions which was hugely appreciated. As stated we would be a table of 10, other venues insisted on pre ordering; this venue had no such requirements which made everything a lot easier. There is decent off street car parking, no steps into the building make access easy. Inside there is a large bar area right in front of you as you enter; the seating area is large and spacious with an outdoor area as well. There is a large blackboard which proudly lists all the local farms and suppliers where their ingredients and food comes from which is a great touch showing they support local industry and independent suppliers. The staff were very friendly and welcoming both during the day when I was dropping things off for the evening meal and during our actual booking. The menu was great with a lot of options for gluten free, dairy free etc as well as all the standard fare you would expect. I had the sirloin steak which I had cooked medium, another of our party had it rare; both were beautifully prepared. My mother remarked we were not given steak knives, we didn’t need them the meat was so tender a normal knife was more than sufficient. The food all round was stunning, there is a separate kids menu as well; they also have a variety of games and activities for children to do such as Jenga and colouring should children get bored. For dessert I had the dark chocolate mousse which was again amazing quality! Loved it. My only slight criticism from the night was that service was quite slow; in mitigation we were a table of 10, we had not pre ordered and there were only 2 floor staff on. I think they were a little rushed doing the bar and the service. The Birthday cake was also presented to the table by the staff for dessert, they provided plates and cutlery and even kicked off the happy birthday singing; a very nice touch! Given staffing issues in the hospitality industry presently alongside the fact a lot of hospitality businesses have been struggling for profit since COVID began; I’m still awarding 5 stars for the overall experience which was excellent. They do also have a large separate function room should you have a lot of guests. Based on this experience I will certainly be back and would be totally confident in recommending you book this place for a meal, a coffee or a larger function. It should be noted they also open for breakfast and I certainly plan on attending soon!

Sunday Lunch: Beef & Veg very good. Roast potatoes leathery. Meal a little too salty. Deserts: Dark Choc Pudding & Sticky Toffee Pudding excellent. Service: Not poor but just a little bit on the slow side.

Why hasn't this place got a Michellin star? A bit off the beaten track, but really worth it. Exquisite food, excellent staff and ambience to match. The tapas was out of this world. Followed by mouthwatering slow cooked belly of pork. Do you fancy coming to our neck of the woods in Cornwall?

Great pub/restaurant in Glastonbury. Lovely food, different from what every other places offer in the area, and a lovely selection of beer. They've lately started bringing fairly local craft beer lines which is an absolute plus for the area. Will be back a thousand times whether for food (the roast is also incredible) or a couple of drinks!

We had breakfast outside. Which is a bit scruffy. Average vegan breakfast, Good portion,I couldn't eat it all.I took the vegan burger away and ate it for dinner it was lovely. My friend had the muffin, bacon and poached eggs, which she enjoyed. Her latte was nice, my black coffee was insipid. Service was slow and it wasn't busy. Our server was a cheery chap. I would go back.

Tapas absolutely amazing ingenuity with different flavours, a little inedible (couldn't cut it and very chewy) and perhaps too oily, presentation was very nice. Very clean, light, airy, relaxed, spacious. Staff lovely , very happy to help, very professional. A little on the expensive side but appreciated due to establishment overheads.

Absolutely stunning meal We visited during lockdown and the welcome was warm and friendly,. The service was also excellent The menu was original. I had roast cauliflower with roast hazelnuts, stilton mash and chilli jam. The combination was different and sublime. I cant wait to go back!

This is the best place out for food near my home in Street. I love bringing people here. The food is always excellent. As other reviewers have mentioned, the service is slow and that needs working on, however I have to say that the staff are knowledgeable and the last chap we had serving us was hilarious! The Old Tannery also has a big black board on the wall as you go in which has all of their local producers on it, and there are a lot of them so you know you're buying local too which is worth the money anyway.

We had a roast meal and although it took time to come out it was very worth the wait. Food was lovely.
