Returning to the area for a holiday we returned to Wirral Plaice as we remembered how good it was the year before. I'm pleased to say they have stayed as good as ever. Two large cod and chips cooked to perfection. Crispy batter on the cod was perfect. Thank you so much for keeping up your standards,
Never had a bad meal from here. Staff are always friendly and portions are generous. It’s not our closest chippy but happy to travel for the quality.
Called in today on are way back home, the fish and chips were lovely. The staff were happy and the next time we are passing we will call in again.

Stayed at Travelodge. Popped down for last minute supper @8pm. Still lots to choose from in the tray beings 8.15pm close. Wasn't disappointed had fish and chips it was beautiful, really enjoyed the meal. Staff were very friendly too. Thank you all the way from South Wales.

A great little fish and chip shop. The pieces of fish you get are massive (a normal cod is enough for me and I have quite an appetite) and the batter is nice and crispy; the same goes for the sausages.
