Had a friendly welcome and the best Sunday lunch I've ever had. I asked for a mixed meat lunch which was absolutely amazing. The roasties, roast parsnips and carrots were exquisite as was the other veg including asparagus, red cabbage, spiced swede and peas and the Yorkshire pud was just bang on topped off with a wonderful thick gravy. I definitely recommend this place for a chilled out friendly vibe with the best food. We'll defo be back next time we're in Glastonbury

I have driven past this pub for the past 12 years and always wondered what it would be like and we were invited to a folk by the fire evening and we had a fantastic night. The music could been from any Dublin pub and it just had a great feel to the place. Very welcoming !!!!

If I could only have one more pint before I died it would be from here, the staff are cool and friendly, the atmosphere is great and the drinks are some of the best I've had

I am not so much about the drink but Chef Skye is a fricken badass in the kitchen and your belly will thank you for letting him nourish you! We have been here two days and had dinner here as many times. His Sunday roast is amazing whether you choose the veggie or poke option. You just can't go wrong...

Rough and ready, friendly staff, lots of outside space and an easygoing vibe. Just wish they did food in the evenings! Been coming here 20 years and still a regular haunt

5 of us ate roast dinner here, Sunday evening. Nothing was to much trouble. The Chef was able to fit us for the last servings and couldn't, have been more accommodating. Most importantly the roast was absolutely amazing. I had Venison, it was beautifully cooked and presented. I would not just recommend to a friend I would be taking my friends there to eat

Lovely old pub near to the Chalice Well. Spent a sunny Saturday afternoon in the raised decking area round the back. Fabulous veggie burger and fries!

Very friendly staff, good range of beer, friendly locals - a proper local pub on the outskirts of Glastonbury, they clearly love to party! The beer garden offers a great place to capture the last rays of sun across this magical town. No food review as I didn't order any food, but people were clearly enjoying what they were being served.

Great pub. Popped in for something to eat after climbing the Tor. Kitchen was about to close as they hadn't been busy but the cook said he'd didn't mind cooking for us. The staff we're amazing, locals we met made us feel very welcome. Thanks for a great time.

Very nice pub, cool staffs and great service, food was delicious, must try their burger, and reasonable price, old style and interesting decor stuffs there. Large parking space, clean restroom.

Recently on the Cask Marque Ale Trail, I arranged to meet friends here for lunch. The accreditation was justified, the Tribute was in excellent condition, although the Butcombe had lost its zest. The lunch that Louis provided was also excellent. The building is somewhat unprepossessing from the outside and the narrow car park entrance needs careful negotiation, but once inside, a lovely Olde Worlde English pub expands out like a Tardis.

SOOO cool inside when you come down off the Tor, a lovely pint of Cheddar Ale went down a storm. Why is this pub not packed??

A great traditional pub interior and a decent decked outside area. Reasonable cask ales and Somerset ciders + regular live music nights. Food sometimes available

I used to go to this place all the time ,idk if they still have the jukebox or nah but it’s so child friendly - staff felt like friends and they had board games ,most of the costumers were sweet aswell ,only bad experience was when I was playing darts and was told to stop but fair enough since I was like 9 or 10 ,dk what it’s been like recently but I had a great experience

Beautiful outdoor seating. Great local pub at foot of the Tor. Good beer selection. Availability of food depends on certain days of week. Live music on weekends.

Other pubs need to step it up. Walk in, a welcome greeting Sit down Table service that politely asks if I would like another drink when my glass is about to be empty. Accommodating with a fresh environment, nice country pub vibe. They’ve got the covid situation under control as well. I’m really pleased as a local what the owners are doing. Food looks good too!

No doubt about it, the Riffleman is THE best pub in Glastonbury! With a mix of old country pub and grundge, it has a great atmosphere. Also have live band, and delicious food. The staff is friendly but let's not forget about the lovely landlady! Always friendly and caring about her customers. A legend!
