Excellent friendly pub. Staff are the highlight of this pub, can’t fault them, super friendly and polite. Food was great, good portion sizes with fair prices to match. We had the Sunday roast which was lovely! Our dog was warmly welcomed which was much appreciated. Highly recommend.
We booked ahead and visited today for Sunday lunch with our 2 dogs who were made very welcome with a bowl of water and some treats.
Lunch was very nice and large plateful, we both had Sunday lunches. We also had pudding also which again was delicious 😋 Recommended and would go again.
We arrived too early for the opening of the Glastonbury Festival car park, so dropped in for a drink at about 2:30pm on the Tuesday. (Hardcore effort here ... slept in the queue overnight to enter the site at 8am, Wednesday). Anyway, The Apple Tree Inn was a wonderful refuge. Sitting outside in the sun, drinking a couple of pints of cider was the perfect start to the week. Next year, same again. Thank you, Apple Tree! 🍎🌳

Great pub beside the A316.
Oldie worldy pub.
Friendly and welcoming. Great murals done by one of the customers
Although we only had drinks the food looked good.
Stopped for a quick bite to eat.
This is a lovely place, its almost like coming home with the atmosphere of the place. Really enjoyed the food.
Great stuff guys, well done you.
I drive past the Apple Tree twice a day and keep meaning to go in as I knew it before which was pretty run down and I’ve heard they’ve spent some money putting their stamp on the place.
My first visit was last Saturday where we just missed their breakfast (7-11am) so we had lunch instead. I had the Butchers board which was perfect and my friend had Ham, egg and chips. We enjoyed our meal so much we wanted to try the dinner menu which we did last night. The pub had a great atmosphere about it and a few tables in to eat, a few were at the bar to which I believe were locals. We grabbed our drinks and sat at a table and we were told to order at the bar when we were ready. Once decided I went to the bar and a blonde lady took my order, as I’m from a hospitality background I was expecting within 3-5 minutes some cutlery would of been brought over and a question of condiments asked! Unfortunately this didn’t happen. Food came out in a very respectable 20 mins and then the waitress/bar lady asked the question whether we wanted sauces, because we did want sauces and still didn’t have cutlery she took 5 mins to bring everything. It was a shame as I started eating my chips using my fingers.
The food was great and I tipped because of this. Unfortunately this lady needs to understand priorities when working in a food establishment rather than chatting at the bar.
I will return as I want to see the place do well.
We called in on the off chance and we loved our experience. Totally recommend this pub 5/5 for everything we experienced. Portions we very good. Dogs are accepted too
We visited the Appletree the first time today as a family for lunch. The food, atmosphere and service was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend the Appletree to others.
Great roast dinner, really friendly bar staff, quickly served and nice cosy pub setting
Been twice now, ale great, food outstanding....!! Nice roaring fire...just a sign on the ladies toilet and turn the over bright bar lights down and its perfection, but with a friendly welcome, great food and drink spot on. Thank you.
