The George And Pilgrims - Glastonbury - Photo album

Stopped off here for a meal. It is a very old building and entering was quite daunting in a wheelchair but with the help of a member of staff, we made it into the main bar area easily. Inside was cosy and I can imagine the fireplace being used in the Winter to make it more so. The menu was extensive
Visited a couple of times for food and drink. The food was delicious, and they had a few good vegan options. The layout is a bit confusing on the first visit, but it's still a beautiful old building and the stuff we're quite friendly.
We have been to the Pub only. Great historic building in centre of the town. Good choice of draft beer and Cider. My wife could taste 3 ciders before ordering. Friendly service. Lovely to sit in the rooms with the coloured Windows. Like a time machine. Loved the Decoration. Old wooden Tables. Enjoye
A charming historic pub full of character and is a Grade II listed building. Good central location, good beers and loads of ciders, obviously being Somerset. 😁
Didn't actually stay at the hotel, just went for a roast dinner and a pint with the family. First of all... Wow! The historic building is incredible. I was sat there thinking 'if only these wall coukd talk'. It is an amazing building. The table service was good and the food arrived really quickly. T
Stayed in the Monk's Cell room. It was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. No ghostly experiences for us. The food downstairs was great too, excellent service. I highly recommend the mini donuts for dessert.
Oct 2023, popped in here for a drink. Very popular. Great atmosphere. Loads of history about it. Rooms are suppose to be haunted.
Just oozing medieval atmospheric vibes. Lovely old craftsmanship inside with stained glass windows. Excellent selection drinks and freindly warm welcoming customer service.
A great welcome and wonderful service from all three members of staff that served us. Really lovely and enjoyable food for both of us. (I had the beef burger). Very much recommended. We'll no doubt be back next time we're in Glastonbury.
We stopped for a drink and a quick bite. An amazing building, I believe it has been around since 1475. Dog friendly.
