Very relaxed atmosphere, food is 10/10, definitely worth the money! Service was amazing aswell, our server Tricia was an energy!
Will deffo be back! Highly recommend the pork belly as a starter, best I've ever tasted!
This has got to be the best steak in Scotland?
Great laid back venue, excellent menu, the staff highly attentive and didn't feel intrusive at all! Must be the first restaurant I've ever been to that didn't have a server asking me how the food is while I have a mouthful of food!
Every course that came out, we were expecting there would be something that let it down, there had to be a catch, something they're not good at?
Everything was flawless, can't wait to go back.
By far the best meal I’ve had in Scotland. Haggis was amazing, scallops were phenomenal, steak was cooked perfectly. Would definitely eat here again!!!!
A really great place to come for a meal if you’re in town.
Food is wonderful - the haggis starter is incredible. The steak could have been better but we had a deal so I can complain. The sides were also excellent.
Drinks are decent - a good cocktail menu and a good espresso made a great coffee.
Service is excellent - friendly, funny, typical Glaswegian.
Will definitely come back.
Stopped here for lunch. This place is fantastic!! The food and the staff were great. The pan fried halibut and the sides merged together for some amazing flavors. The dessert was the best I’ve had in Glasgow.
Probably the best Burger I have ever eaten. Go easy on lunch if you’re coming here for dinner. Fantastic food and plenty of it. Service is relaxed and the welcome warm. Great wine selection too. Can’t comment on the desserts… no room left!

The starters were simply outstanding. The chef had expertly prepared a range of small plates that bursted with flavor and creativity. Moving on to the desserts, I was equally impressed. The presentation was stunning and looked like a work of art. However, I must say that the main course was a bit of a letdown. Although I had high expectations for the steak, it didn't quite hit the mark. Despite this, I would still consider this one of the top steak houses in Glasgow. There aren't many decent steak houses here, and this one stands out for its exceptional starters and desserts.
- Haggis Trio £8
- Steak Tartare £10
- 700g Chateaubriand £79 with sauces £3 and sides £5 each
- Panna Cotta £9
I have walked past this place on a number of occasions not realizing it existed, we were going to a concert at the Kings Theatre in Glasgow and searched for restaurants in the area and it popped up, booked a table (a refundable booking fee is required) and off we went.
On arrival we were met by a really nice friendly young lady led us to our table in a warm, comfortable well lit restaurant area.
It is a good menu but concentrates heavily on steak of various cuts, there is a small starter menu, and the starters are a bit on the small size, that is because the mains are huge, cooked to a high standard, and well presented. To quote Elvis, it was a Hunk a Hunk of sizzling beef. The bottle of Italian wine we ordered was reasonably priced and good quality and went well with the beef. We also had a pudding which was again a sizable endeavor requiring not just one sweet tooth and not for the faint hearted, at the end of the meal my jaws were sore from eating, coffee was very good also.
There is a reasonably comprehensive wine and drinks list.
Toilets were clean and fresh.
The staff were friendly, quite chatty, helpful and professional and the service was excellent.
The food is excellent and the service commendable.
This is a hidden gem of a restaurant.
The staff are still as good as ever, the slab of well cooked steak was delicious, well everything was.
Wine was very good.
There is a service charge applicable.
Food and service was amazing. The girls are very polite and friendly, making you feel very welcome. Can't wait for my next visit
Visited on saturday night . Had a steak and my wife had the venison. Best steak I've ever had ! 10/10
1st class service . 1st class food and lovely cosy atmosphere. We will definitely be back
We dined here for our 15th Wedding Anniversary and the meal was lovely, the steak was delicious and the downstairs eating area was lovely and cosy. The only criticism I would make was that the last glass of wine we had from our bottle was very unpleasant but that's no fault of the restaurant.
The food is absolutely delicious. We turned up 30mins early and were seated straight away. The service was outstanding. Water for the table was replenished without asking. Our waitress was professional and chatty and took an interest in our plans after wards.
Would highly recommend
Easily some of the greatest steak that we have ever eaten. Wonderful.
This "little" restaurant is super cool place to eat.
Mini by name but maxi by nature the only small things on the menu are the starters. Thank goodness as what follows is gargantuan.
Starters are really well presented, served quickly and are just fantastic. Tasty, TASTY.
Move on to the main course, we hade a rib eye and a sirloin. You will see the images they were enormous.
Cooked medium as recommended they were well rested so no leak of blood or juice. But biting into them they were suculant and full of flavour. They came with a lovely dressed salad and thik cut hand made chips.
The pudding has a small range on the menu, but again don't fall down. If you can manage it after such a huge meal. Go for it.
In Glasgow, looking for a real good steak or just an excellent meal. This is a must to visit.
Staff are friendly, quick and helpful.the restaurant is quirky, cosy and family friendly. Go enjoy.
Very hospitable team. Delicious steak. Would recommend the fillet. The panna cota dessert Was delicious
This has got to be one of the biggest understatements I have been given this year. The food was outstanding the meat was tender to the point of perfection, bold flavours with a variety of textures bringing the plate to whole. Overall this was a perfect meal with a reasonable price and I would recommend it to anyone.
I’m not sure it’s the best steak in Glasgow, but it’s one of the best. Staff deserve a mention as they were fantastic. We got a table on a Saturday at short notice and they were ultra efficient and friendly. Steaks were good but not amazing. Peppercorn sauce and chips were flawless. Pudding was decadent and huge. Wine prices a bit steep but that’s the norm especially in meaty venues. All in all a great meal but (just) lacking the culinary wow factor for me. I would return and recommend tho
Fantastic Pre theatre dinner here. As the name suggests it's mini but good things...small packages ☺️. Staff were very enthusiastic and friendly, just the right level of attentiveness. Burger was (and I don't say this lightly) the best I've tasted in the UK. Trio of haggis starters not to be missed. Slightly let down by the 240g rib eye which was slightly tough. Would ask for a few more dairy free options. Cocktails were solid. Two courses, wine, and cocktails for two came to £120. Highly recommended.
