A proper hidden gem. We visited here after a show and both had the 3 course dinner for £11.95 each. The staff were super attentive to our needs, the food was delicious and the restaurant is decorated to a high and modern standard. Definitely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A relatively new venue in Sauchiehall St.Entry is from a single door at street level to the basement restaurant. Decor is retro, very colourful and most important of all, seating is very comfortable with all chairs having a soft velvet type covering.I found out about Glassy Central from an advert on my messenger page. The ad boasted a 3 course lunch for £5.95 and it is indeed good value with a good choice of starters, mains and accompaniments. We enjoyed Chicken Korma, with fried rice, Lamb Patia(Lamb £1 extra cost) with excellent Nan bread. As an extra side we ordered Aloo Tikka( potato cake dish) which was very tasty.Food quality throughout was very good. Staff were fantastic,so friendly and helpful and owner asked us at our table if we had enjoyed the experience.A La Carte menu looks excellent ,so worth an evening visit. Only disappointment was dessert . I am not a big fan of bought in items. I find them bland and tastless. They are not cheap some costing almost as much as the 3 course lunch, so should be better. This aside i would recommend Glassy Central. It certainly has a few welcome touches, like Gold Colour Cutlery, making it different to other indian restaurants. 🤗

Close to Kings Theatre so before out show we decided to give this place a try and so very glad that we did. The food was absolutely beautiful, a great menu with many new delights.Everything was perfect with just the right amount of spice used. The interior is stunning and the little private booths were pure luxury . The service was second to none..Staff all happy, attentive and polite. The owner took time to talk to each table and gave us each a complementary shot after our meal. A absolutely beautiful classy Indian restaurant and I would honestly say probably the best in Glasgow right now.Not to be missed!

Great surprise for me and my family. Looking for Indian food and while in glasgow on my kids holiday.. And, found this. We all surprised by its decoration. One of the staff came to ask for menu and I said him any that you think is best for us. Three plates with veg and one mix set of sizzler like dish came to table. Wonderful taste and more importantly not so spicy but has typical indian taste. Best fit for us. Thanks guys.. Hope to see you again..

We had dinner here tonight and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. We had Chicken Tikka Garam Masala and Chicken Tikka Chasni, rice, which was beautiful, and garlic Naan along with a beer and a glass of wine. Our bill was just over £40. We highly recommend Glassy Central for excellent Indian food. It is located on Sauchiehall Street with a brightly lit front. To get to the dining room, which is nicely appointed, you go down some steps inside the front door to the lower level. You definitely won't regret it.

A hidden gem of a restaurant in Glasgow City centre. My husband and I had time to waste while waiting for our kids and spotted the Glassy Central. It's a restaurant that is hidden away downstairs from the main entrance. Lovely attentive staff, great atmosphere and music and the food was excellent. We went for the 3 course set dinner menu at £11.95 per person. The Haggis pakora melted in the mouth, while the chicken pakora was crispy and fresh. My husband chose lamb bhoona, and I had chicken chasni with a shared rice and nan bread. Both mains were excellent and plenty for one person. We finished with the ice cream, which rounded the meal off perfect. I would highly recommend a visit, and we will definitely be back.

I went there with my friends yesterday, we tried 3 course meal which was reasonable with a price of £11.95, which was worth it. The ambience and the hospitality of the staff was outstanding. I highly recommend Glassy Central to everyone. If you’re looking for affordable place with great taste of food. Glassy Central is the best place to go.

This is in my top 3 Indian I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to India! I personally had the “Central Mix for 1” and paired with a garlic naan brought me straight into the euphoria of spice and flavour. We had a group of 8 people and all the food came out at the same time and piping hot! Also the sweet chilli/peri peri sauce you get with a side of salad is absolutely delicious!! The service was incredible, very professional with waiters and the owner checking in on us periodically to see if everything was ok and if we needed anything else. But most importantly the owner stayed for a little chat which you just don’t see very often, which just led to the best meal experience I’ve had in a long time. Decided we’re coming back in a couple weeks and it’s an hour drive… it’s that good!
