I took a friend to the airport and was looking for a place to eat that was semi decent and where we could talk. We found The Spinning Jenny. The restaurant had a lovely calm atmosphere. We went to the bar to chat with Claire one of the restaurant workers. She was excellent, helping us navigate the menu, and making suggestions. She helpful and presenting the layout of the restaurant and how ordering works. In the end we were able to enjoy a quiet brunch, were able to chat and say good by before my friend's flight. Lovely, memorable place.

Always the place to start your holiday with a good Scottish breakfast and a early morning beer getting yourself ready for your trip away. Staff ard Always friendly and talk away. Always good to talk to other travellers and everyone is always in good spirits before a holiday. Anytime I am here make me feel like the holiday has started

We were early for our car hire reservation so came to Spinning Jenny’s for some dinner. Service was wonderful. We were served by Mel who was friendly and helpful. Food was fine. I had the steak pie which was lovely and my husband the plant burger. Both drinks and food delivered quickly to the table. Tables were clean and music not too loud to have a conversation.

Arrived at 6am waiting on friends. Great service from Ben at the bar. Helpful and a good bit of chat. Couldn't ask for better.

The search for the worst Airport/Ferry food in the world turns to The Spinning Jenny in the Arrivals section of Glasgow Airport, UK. Comparing the All Day Breakfast from every airport and ferry operator, The Spinning Jenny actually fares quite well. Plus points - the items in the meal did come all at different temperatures, a standard requisite for the worst meal winner. The sausages were warmest but the beans weren't as cold as usual. The beans did have a disgusting soapy taste though which saved them from being good. The bacon was barely cooked, and the fried eggs were thrown onto the plate, left where they landed. But best of all, the breakfast was served not with toast, hash browns or even potato scones (Scotland), but with very bland, luke warm potato wedges. A killer move that puts it right up there with the worst breakfasts ever. More plus points - apart from the woman who took my order (who was very good), the staff were extremely rude, their conversation dipping to whispers when I approached the bar and turning their backs on me (taking orders, not my job). Top marks to them. Two empty ketchup bottles adorned the table along with other uncared for condiments. A final plus mark is awarded for the unbelievably sticky table which literally attached the paper serviette to it and ripped as I prised it away. Overall, in comparison with other contenders, this was an above average bad experience hence its high ranking, but not bad enough to get top marks as the search for the worst experience continues.

We were served by Ben at the Spinning Jenny prior to our flight to New York. Honestly, he's one of the nicer bartenders I've spoken to. Myself and my girlfriend are nervous flyers, so it was lovely to have a bit of patter with Ben before our flight to The Big Apple. QPeople like Ben make the world of difference to travellers in Glasgow Airport whether departing or arriving. Keep up the brilliant work, Ben!

We were served by Claire and Marcia . They were both especially nice and the service they gave us was second to none. They were both being so nice and helpful to everyone. This was the perfect start to our holiday. I would highly recommend the Spinning Jenny when these 2 are working.

Served by Mel today, cracking pint of Guinness. Worth coming to the airport early for a pint or something to eat. Good for a people watch too. Will be back 👍
