This is such a gem of a place in Whiteinch. The venue is nice - warm overhead heaters dotted around. Plenty of things for kids to play with.
The food was amazing. I love my burgers and I'll say my Brisket Burger was up there as one of the best I've tried. My wife's salt & chilli chicken Mac and cheese was making me jealous too!
What I thought was the best thing though was the staff working there. As I understand it's a social enterprise that is trying to end food poverty. The staff seemed to be young adults from the community and honestly they could have given high class places a run for their money with the service and how well they looked after us.
Will 100% be back.

Meal prices are amazing and portion sizes are huge! Had to take away a doggy bag because we had so much food.
Had a few games of pool and table tennis also. Great friendly place

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful! We did not have kids with us but would highly recommend bringing your little ones along, they seemed to be having a blast!

Fantastic place. I've been at the weekend with a friend and 3 toddlers. Was £40 for our food and drink, so worked out quiet expensive but was happy to support the business as I see what they do for the local community.
We attend groups through the week, amazing place. Very friendly staff and volunteers. Plenty for kids to do and during groups the gate is locked so you're kids are free to play without worry.
It is a great place for families. The food is very good, the portions are "considerably big" and the environment is very friendly with a lot of space to eat comfortably (I hate places where you have to eat elbow to elbow with the people from the other tables) and for the children to roam and play. The decorations and wall paintings are a bit too "American" for my taste, but it really is a minor thing :)
Delicious food in a bright and spacious modern setting with lovely indoor and outdoor seating. Food was the star but the space was really well thought out. It was quiet when we arrived and my children loved the pool table and table tennis table. There are toys for really young children and the spacious interior meant the children could play while I relaxed.
We had Lamb Kofta Flatbread, BBQ Ribs, Sausages Bap, Beef Burger, Kids Chicken & Chips and Skin On Fries. I also had a Mocha which was lovely.
Thoroughly recommend this hidden gem.
Our company had a private function at The Unit yesterday and both the venue and staff were brilliant, really amazing. Great weather, a great event, great food and brilliant service throughout the whole day. Thank you Mario and all of your team, we couldn’t have asked for better.
Fantastic venue. All staff were excellent and accommodating for our large function . Highly recommended to anyone looking for a big space for a party, function. Wedding. Food they do are drinks were fantastic.
Cool place with a massive indoor space and big outdoor seating area too. The menu caters for everyone with tasty burgers, mac and cheese, nachos, chips etc. Plus coffee and lots of desserts. Very friendly team! Profits go to support for families so you spend money for a good cause. Pool tables too! Great for families.
Had a lovely day with daughter & 3yr old twin grandkids,who loved the freedom they had to run around & play both indoors & out. Lovely plentiful food and staff were exceptional young girls who couldn’t be more helpful. Will definitely be back. Thank you girls. You should be proud of yourselves.👍
Great venue. Food was excellent, service great, the space itself is excellent and quite funky, great value. Can't really fault anything about it. Would recommend for any large event.

Great space for a party or work event. There's a large indoor area with a couple of bars and an outdoor seating area with shaded spots and a bbq truck. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Refurbed Warehouse suited us perfect! 4 year old and one year old were entertained with the play corner and garden. The food was fantastic however nobody finished a plate as the portions were SO BIG!!!
First time being here and it was amazing really good food space is amazing have stuff for kids to keep them entertained, also needed a jump start and the guy who worked there helped us which was really nice if him couldn't thank him enough.
Just came back from djing at a friend's party and was really impressed with the unit, so if your looking for somewhere to have a party I would recommend here without hesitation. The staff made me feel very welcome and looked after me while djing 10/10
The food is outstanding especially the Sunday roast , the venue and space is great, especially the outdoor area, staff are so welcoming and friendly, the events they put on are fantastic, great time had by all, best place within miles x
