Great dining for a good cause, who doesn’t support that? The restaurant works with a fixed menu of 4 courses. There are optional courses as well. In each course you can choose between fish, meat or veggie. To each their taste. Everything is locally produced, which we loved and very much support. Nice open kitchen and staff is very helpful. The restaurant is quite remote from Glasgow city, but you can get there by bus. One small thing, it would be nice if the staff would give a little more information on the cause and their mission.

Food is excellent, and lovely to have this on my doorstep. Only drawback was the price of a glass on wine unfortunately. Staff were very attentive, so big shout out to them.

Atmosphere was wonderful, staff absolutely lovely. We had problems finding the venue as the outside lighting wasn’t turned on when we arrived. It’s apparent that the food is locally sourced, everything was so fresh. All my courses were delightful but my husband’s beef was extremely tough. I did wonder if part of the concept is to keep the costs down by using cheaper ingredients. Although beautifully done, potato confit was a questionable item. Both deserts were with on the intense side with caramel ice cream, but both were excellent. A fruit option would have been nice. I didn’t leave feeling over full, which suited me brilliantly. Those with larger appetites might feel underfed, as small portions. The venue ticks all the boxes for guests. Affordable, locally sourced, near public transport, delicious and in aid of The Beatson Cancer charity.

Great experience for a fantastic cause. The staff were super friendly, explaining each course and always happy to help if needed. A few of the courses weren't to our taste (chicken parfait for me and the gazpacho for my partner) and we were instantly offered an alternative. The rest of the menu was delicious, hazelnut parpadelle being the highlight. Pistachio parfait is my new favourite thing! And the trio of pork was delicious. Nothing to do with the restaurant itself but the website is needing improved as we didn't have a clue what the vegetarian options were until getting there despite messaging the social media team. I also don't agree with a 12.5% surcharge added to bills, even if it can be removed if requested. However a lovely night and great to try some new flavours that I wouldn't usually see together.

Food was delicious and plated well. The only dish I wasn't a fan of was the beef tartare - not the fault of the staff. They apologised and offered me the veggie option which was kind. Wine pairing is highly recommended. What makes this Six By Nico restaurant special is all profits (above operating costs) go to charity.

Absolutely out of this world. The food was perfect. I've never tasted anything like it before. 10/10. Excellent value for money for a tasting menu.

Every plate was a delight. The Tartare was brilliant. Star of the show for me was the Fregola Sarda. Amazing value for such great food. Lovely staff who pace things just right. A great experience

I love the altruism demonstrated and appreciate the paired back taster menu compared with the "6 by" concept. Come, experience and enjoy while supporting a good cause!

Everything about this restaurant is sensational. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and informative. The portions sizes are perfect (there's six, afterall) and there's the option to have a pairing wine with each course, too. The menu changes every six weeks, as well, so there's always an excuse to go back and try something new. They are also raising money for a fantastic cause, which is a wonderful bonus.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Chippie themed tasting menu last night. Delicious food, amazing tequila aperitifs and friendly staff who explained each dish very well. And having been a patient of the Beatson, it was fantastic to be contributing to their charity. There wasn't anything on the menu my partner and I didn't enjoy. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Visited at weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We chose to have the vegetarian taster . Food was amazing and beautifully presented. My husband also enjoyed the paired wines. Service was fab..All staff passionate when describing each course and wine. Best meal we've had out in years. Would give it six stars if I could. Such a treat to get such imaginative vegetarian food. .
