Had some lovely ice cream and coffee here. The place is very clean and tidy and the staff are helpful and friendly. There's a little baby room at the back too, if you've for kiddies to keep busy. Will definitely be back ☺️

I love this place so much and would travel the world just to come here. Luckily I don’t have to and it’s right next to work for me. The girls are so sweet and make me feel so special and like a kid getting a treat. I’m always given so much gelato. I just love this gelato place it beats the ones in Covent Garden it’s just the bestttttt!!! 14th July 12:30 pm the girl was the sweetest xxx

Lovely Italian gelato cafe. Great for lunch or just coffee/cake/sandwich/ice cream. Not the cheapest place but worth it.

Very good place but ice creams are too fancy. It would be good to stock basic flavours like vanilla and mint chocolate chip.

Like being in Italy except that coffee here is more than twice the price of one in Barga.

The ice cream here is among the best in Glasgow. Loads of great ice cream flavours made with local ingredients. Brilliant cakes and coffee too. It has a play room for the kids to keep them occupied. A must visit.

Visited today for the first time with a service user and had a lovely conversation with Laura and another young server with brunette hair both were lovely and kind and spent extra time talking to us both, being patient whilst we decided what we wanted. Staff were beyond friendly and went above and beyond to provide excellent service. I wish the male worker was kinder when speaking to the younger girls working as he comes across as quite abrupt. Service was excellent and was the best ice cream we have ever had. Will be back.

Il Gelato Di Piero is a lovely establishment ran by Piero Sarti, one of the Sarti brothers who founded the restaurant chains of the same name, and currently owns Giffnock café, Pane e Vino. Me and my wife have been going to his establishments for many years, and all have been impressive. Il Gelato Di Piero has the simplest menu of all the Sarti ventures, but it is a well rounded and fantastic assortment. The ice cream is the best I have experienced in Britain, and is so authentic to Italian Gelato that it is on par the venetian ice cream I have tried in the past. The flavours change every day, and there are around 20 available. Usually there are around 5 standard returning flavours, a few other ice creams, and then some more alternative options like sorbets, vegan ice cream and ice poles. Most flavours are delectable and you can sample before you buy! It is expensive but the Gelato is all made on site by the staff using high end ingredients and equipment. The young manager walked me through the process a few months ago. My young boy loves the mint choc chip, and there are more mature flavours often available such as coffee and pistachio. Also served is coffee and teas. My daughter loves the iced coffee available with all the syrups, and my wife and I do enjoy their hot coffee, though it is a bitter brew. The selection of delicious cakes also changes, but are rather enjoyable. Of particular note, the cannoli are the best I have ever tasted. There are a multitude of Italian biscuits and chocolates like ferrero-rocher and bacci. In terms of non desert, they have recently started doing sandwiches and tiny pizzas served with salad and crisps, and they are all enjoyable, warm or cold. The customer service is phenomenal, I was taken aback by some of the other reviews on here as my experiences with the particularly young staff have been nothing but positive. They are friendly, fast, and produce high quality well presented orders. However, something of note is that the owner, Piero, seems to be rather hard on his staff in all establishments. Sadly, on more than one occasion, my experience has been tarnished when he loudly and snarkily reprimands a young staff member in front of customers with a "I'm better than you" attitude, leaving the poor young girls and boys seemingly embarrassed and demoralised. I was in on a busy day once and I saw him make his staff panic at what could have been an otherwise manageable situation, but he actively seemed to worsen the customer service. This is of course from an outsider perspective, but as someone who has been a fan of all of his establishments, it is a recurring theme. Despite this, I'd recommend the location to all, it stands as a special location in Glasgow, a city that is probably not ready for the wonderous delights provided by a man as talented as Piero Sarti. 4/5, from a food only perspective, it would be 5/5. -Fred Bogly

Have visited several times now, and enjoyed it very much! I'm so glad to have a place like this nearby with great coffee, cakes and ice cream - and lovely friendly staff too. The croissant breakfast deal is great - will be back soon!

I have visited 4 times now so can safely say this place is a wonderful addition to the area. The gelato is beautiful. The tiramisu gelato...I have no words!! Just so good. The cannoli...omg are the best. The lady that served us was so helpful and kind, offering us samples of flavours and a box for our ice creams..she had the patience of a saint as well! Love it will definitely be back (many times no doubt!)

Brilliant wee Ice Cream shop, had the pleasure of sitting talking to the owner while we were in, and he was telling us about how all the ice cream is made fresh in the shop, using the best ingredients, milk and cream from a local dairy farm. Had the Tiramisu Ice Cream and Amaretto I've Cream, excellent quality and full of flavour, my Wife had the Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake which was also really good, and my son had the Raspberry Sorbet which was also great. We even got a couple of tasters of other I've cream aswell, tried the Rhubarb and Ginger and also the Caramelised Fig. Both of which were great, and the Quality of the waffle cones were superb. Forgot to get pictures as it was so good.... Will deffo be back
