Now that's a hidden gem with a such a delicious and tasty food. We ordered Halwa puri and paratha omlete and both dishes had authentic taste.
Truly amazing place all round! Even before & will definitely go again.. visited with the family & everyone enjoyed everything. Seems everything on their menu is a taste above others, from the milkshakes, desi chai to the paratha rolls, samosa chaat & milk cake.. salute to the chef π©βπ³ π―π

Staff are great and the food is fantastic. All the food is freshly made in store. I had the keema cheese paratha with home made chutney and it was amazing.
Washed it all down with a karak chai!

Our first visit to the place and loved it. Freshly cooked parathas are great and very big in size. Omelette was perfectly cooked. Pink tea and karak teas were great aswell. Makki roti and saag saturday sunday only. Definitely coming back.
Excellent service band their spinach was perfect! We ordered chapli kabab and Bihari with roti, we were very happy with everything. Finally found a place in Scotland that does perfect desi chai.
Nice wee desi cafe in South side of Glasgow. In the right area, serving desi food cooked traditionally and authentically. Better than other alternatives.

I rarely write a desi food review because you rarely find authentic desi food in Glasgow. Its funny what people sell and eat in the name of those desi dishes. At times I wonder "what is wrong with their taste buds"?
Before I share my experience I would like to tell you I love food. I just love good food. Quality and Quantity! I have never ever flattered anyone about their cooking if I did not like the food.
So, my experience today was amazing. Let me tell you what did I have before you order something else and blame me. I had two hot Rotis (prepared on the Tawa), 6 glasses of Desi lassi & lo and behold first time in my five years in Glasgow a plate of authentic, actual, real Lamb Karahi.
You can continue eating whatever in the name of those Lamb Karahis at other places OR go to Macchai on Cathcart Road, Glasgow and have the real Lamb Karahi.
Excellent desi lunch, fresh paranta unlike (chaiwala), freshly cooked daal and hulwa, the omelette was spot on, throughly recommend this desi breakfast place over anyone else in glasgow!!!.
Wow! This place is my new favourite, creamy chicken pasta only Β£5 and I have never tasted anything like this before. The restraunt looks great and smells unbelievable, my car is in at the garage around the corner so I stumbled across this place but I will be back.

Brilliant food this was my 2nd visit and the prathas were amazing freshly cooked and large size. The halwa and daal was brilliant too and both karak n English teas were perfect just how we like them. Chicken tikka pratha roll was so good my daughter finished it all off. The boy at the counter is so nice helpful and welcoming. Defo a place to try.

Good place for paratha and chai.
The food was really tasty. However it was freezing cold inside the entire time we were there, smoke alarm kept going off the whole time we were there due to the food being prepared and the atmosphere was smokey. It kept catching my throat.
Perhaps the extractor fans weren't working π€·ββοΈ
I was with 3 other friends who felt the same.
We decided not to stay for dessert and whent somewhere else cozy and warm.
