Best Indian in Glasgow! Discovered by accident as it’s quite tucked away, but the food was the nicest - and most authentic - I’ve had in Glasgow. Would highly recommend the veg and fish pakora. I couldn’t stop eating the veg ones - really crispy and a lovely batter - and my boyfriend/parents loved the fish. Ordered the paneer butter masala and it was fantastic. It had a bit of heat to it but was delicious. My parents ordered a chickpea curry (I can’t remember the name!) and it was also amazing, and definitely had some heat to it! And the gulab jamun for dessert was the best dish of the night, really lovely, super sweet dessert. I’ve never had it before but my mum has had it plenty (made by friends/family) and said it was fantastic.

My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Raunak Raseeli India the other night. I love small cosy restaurants and supporting small businesses. This restaurant came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. It’s an authentic Indian restaurant a few minutes from the St George’s Cross underground station. It’s definitely a hidden gem as it’s tucked away just off Maryhill Road and which means its just outside Glasgow’s LEZ zone. We ordered the following: Mango Lassi and Sweet Kewda Lassi Popadoms and spiced onions Fish pakora Chicken Momo's House special curry with spring lamb on the bone House special curry with chicken on the bone Chicken biryani, and the garlic nan Butter chicken with boiled rice Gulab jamun and ice cream Every dish was perfect! Our new favourite Indian restaurant in Glasgow. They do takeaway and delivery too!

The food was absolutely amazing, chicken on the bone was fantastic and the lamb was super tender. The atmosphere and service was just as good, the place feels like a real hidden gem. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to make our experience great.

Excellent little restaurant serving authentic and tasty Indian food. A well varied menu with plenty of vegetarian and meaty dishes. Efficient and very friendly service. Reasonable prices and fully licenced. I highly recommend this place. Just minutes walking from Sir George Cross and Great Western Road.

Dined on Friday night with my sister. We ordered a curry each, 2x naans, a rice and chips between the two of us. Portion sizes were great and the food was delicious. Plenty of vegan options for us to enjoy. Staff were attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend!!

So good. Every curry is a banger. Best curry I've had in ages and I've tried a lot. Such a gem. Service is so quick if you collect. Love the haggis pakora too. Owner is very friendly. We have gone several times on consecutive weeks.

First time visiting this hidden gem and wow the food and service was incredible. I absolutely love the tapas style of dining allowing you to try different dishes. I would highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Chasni and Butter Chicken for mains and the fish and chicken pakora for starters. Food is very light and the sauces are bursting with flavour. Highly recommend a visit here.

We may have just found our new favourite Indian in the G20 😍 I absolutely love Indian tapas because I just love to pick at different things and get a right good taste of everything and here is the absolute perfect place for this! Pictured: Poppadoms Mango chutney Spiced onions Veg and aubergine pakora Chicken and veg momos Chicken korma Butter chicken South India garlic chilli chicken Jeera rice Peshwari naan Gulab jamun and ice cream The poppadoms with mango chutney and spiced onions were great, the mango chutney was spot on with the sweetness and the spiced onions were just the perfect amount of spice, the poppadoms were still warm when they got to the table too, love that! Our starters were amazing, first time we’ve both tried aubergine pakora and it was so nice, the veg pakora was also lovely and so light. I wanted to try the momos as I’d seen a couple of people saying they were amazing and I was not disappointed! They are Nepalese dumplings and can come plain with chilli sauce on the side or tossed in chilli sauce which I got and it was so good 🤩 All 3 curries were great, the butter chicken was definitely our favourite, one of my new favourite Indian dishes I think. The peshwari naan was also light, fluffy and so tasty, went perfectly dipped in the butter chicken sauce 😍 We finished off with a wee gulab jamun and ice cream to share and they were the best I’ve ever tried 👏🏼 Would highly recommend!

An absolute gem of a restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious! The chicken poori and the vegetable and aubergine pakora were the best Indian starters I can remember! The malaidar is a must try if you like lamb curry - all sorts of delicious. Rohit at front of house is great and obviously passionate about Indian cuisine and was happy to provide recommendations. Near St George's Cross in Glasgow it is easily accessible by bus / train and free parking right outside it at the weekend and evenings. Already looking forward to going back!
