Came for a light lunch, food came quickly and tap water was offered on entrance. The leek tart was light but filling at the same time and had a nice herby taste. My date had a chopped salad and was equally delighted with her dish. Side was also good and everything was good value. Staff did not rush us at any time and allowed us to relax and converse for over an hour. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, with good music in the background.
By far the best food I’ve had in Glasgow. Absolutely delicious. Food and drinks took a little while to come out but worth the wait - definitely worth getting a few dishes and sharing (4 for the 2 of us was perfect).
We went for dinner on a Thursday night around 8pm and with no reservation. The restaurant was around 1/3 full and were happy to accommodate walk ins. service was warm and friendly, I like how they described wines as ‘funky’. When we asked what they recommended from the menu they were passionate and clearly picked out the top dishes. We were told to get the mixed salad for definite, it was great but I think our server liked it more! Stand out dishes for us was the poached pears and Stilton sauce on sourdough, and the baba ghanoush - so so creamy.
If you’re a meat eater like me who has meat with most meals, this vegetarian restaurant will not disappoint. The meals are hearty and full of flavour. We are so glad we chose this restaurant.
