I had a lovely time at Perch & Rest Coffee, this is a cosy and friendly coffee shop. The staff were very attentive and the coffee was delicious plus their cakes are tasty and fresh. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing spot to enjoy props coffee while in Glasgow.

How fortunate I am to find such delicious coffee! Perch & Rest Coffee is the first one which suits my taste best after I came to Glasgow. Flat white and Cortado are my favorites with mild mouthfeel. What’s more, they provide SOE and I was really impressed with its floral flavor. The baristas here are also friendly so every time when I come here I always feel relaxing

If you are looking for a filter coffee pour over method then this’s a good cafe to visit. Small selection of pastries. Slow service when it’s busy. Pricy Staff needs to smile and be more welcoming

Albeit serving solo, the barista was able to welcome everyone warmly. I can see how serious this place in serving their coffee from bean to cup. And it translated into how good my coffee was. I'm impressed, imagine burst of flavour in a cup. My ultimate coffee in town.

I always come here to drink hot filtered coffee. Price is reasonable which depends on coffee beans quality. Excellent!

Key pleasures of my trip: - location of the shop. On a quiet stretch of Otago Street in Glasgow. A relaxing walk to the shop which gets one in the right mood - the shop: It is amazing what they have done with the otherwise small foot print. A selection of magazines, coffee brewing equipment and more is on display and available for purchase, yet the lighting and use of open spaces and paint tones means the shop dones not feel crowded! I got a travel mug which was a great help with the rest of my travels - Coffee: I thoroughly enjoyed my latte. I appreciated the option to buy a travel cup which held my coffee warm through to the late evening when I was done with that sweet beverage - Staff recommendations: Do ask the staff for recommendations as I did. I got asked a few preference questions and got recommended my latte, as I was not keen on coffee before my visit, so something that aligned with my tastes was recommended. Since that visit, I am beginning to get into coffee way more My review: Nestled on quiet Otago Street in a rather busy side of town, Perch & Rest is quite a sweet coffee shop. On a nice dry Glasgow day (when does this happen?) it would be great to sit outside and have a chat without the usual noise of busier streets On the wet and mildly overcast day I visited, it was brilliant to walk into the cozy and welcoming shop. Prior to this, I had only had my infrequent coffee from the usual high-street outlets, so was greatly blown away with the latte and custom blend (Burundi, it's called) that I got. Safe to say my standard of acceptable coffee changed. Now I know why you need to go to a coffee shop to enjoy coffee. Sorry highstreet chains, you are missing something. The propreitors were very friendly (well, gladly I knew them from another life but expect they are friendly to more than just myself, as they were to the other customers during my visit!) and took time to recommend a suitable coffee drink as I do not drink it often. I alslo tried one of the custome blends, the Burundi, expecting it to be very bitter but much to the contrary, it was very flavourful! I guess I had not had a proper coffee before this visit! My experience made me realise that there is so much more to coffee! Thank you Perch & Rest Coffee!

I like this place a lot. Nice choice of Coffee, super chill and laid back staff & atmosphere. Lovely wet cake. A jewel in the west end which has surprisingly few decent coffee shops. Highly recommended.

So far, best coffee in Glasgow! I like that they have V60 and they have Gardelli coffee! I am talking about premium beans combined with best brewing methods! I also had an espresso, served with sparkling water to cleanse the palate (the right way to serve espresso). They also sell coffee beans and brewing tools (filters, kettles, etc..). Staff are really friendly and informative.

Came with some colleagues today for a work break. First time visiting, but really impressed with the quality of the coffee and cakes. Had a short chat with the member of staff behind the counter about various brewing methods, friendly dude. Looking forward to visiting again.

Wonderful place nestled in a beautiful location with cute, bright minimalistic interior and leafy outside seating too. Coffee is divine and made with extremely well sourced beans of very high quality. Highly recommended! Great selection of dairy free milks available too so vegan friendly and great selection of cakes! 👌 Authentic noodles for offer too, cooked to perfection by authentic Chinese chef. Friendly, professional staff too. This is a place to watch!

Recently opened by a lovely young couple, bright and chic everything designed by the owners, great menu and coffee for the connoisseur! There's also a lovely garden and outside seating where I often enjoy my coffee and cake, roll or noodles. The road is a quiet road in the west end but just off great western road by kelvinbridge subway so really easy to get to as well. Can't recommend enough!

If you like speciality coffee and are looking for somewhere (pet friendly) in the West end - check out Perch & Rest. Espresso or V60 - they always have a couple of different options available, so if you're into light or dark roasts they'll have something to suit your tastes. The staff are friendly and are obviously well informed and trained on how to get the best out of the coffee. Annnnnd their cakes and cookies are first class too. Great cafe.

Lovely, bright space inside, one of the most elegantly designed espresso machines I’ve seen in a long time, and a nice collection of sunny tables outside for summer afternoons. Oh, and the espresso is excellent… not always the case in Glasgow.

I’m not a professional fan of coffees but I really enjoyed the coffee here. The machines and techniques they used all looked professional to me, and the staff seemed very knowledgeable about coffee. I ordered cappuccino and it certainly was one of the best I had. The coffee scent was strong but so nicely blended with milk. I ordered takeaway, but the interior was neat and beautiful I imagine it will be nice to spend a couple of hours here. Would consider another visit if I come somewhere near!

Hidden away from the main road but a real gem! Coffee was expensive but well worth the premium. Fantastic filter and espresso coffee. Also some of the most beautiful latte art I've ever seen!
