Fantastic spot to have a healthy, yet delicious lunch. Busy on weekdays, quite on weekends. Service was quick, with varied options to experiment by yourself, they checked for allergies. I had sushi and pokeball which was excellent.
The only downside was they charged 50p for one squeeze for the sauce we chose(can definitely come up with a better business model for that!). Displeasing in this aspect as everything else from prices of mains to ambience were pitch perfect.
Nevertheless, definitely one of the best Japanese cuisines in Glasgow. I would definitely go back there.
First time trying the poke bowls here and I highly recommend! The portion is extremely generous and you get to choose 5 toppings for the bowls. The salmon was very fresh, and the katsu chicken was so delicious and crunchy. I found it extremely affordable considering the portion of the bowl. There are also a lot of vegan/vegetarian options. The staff was extremely friendly as well, can’t wait to go there again and have some more poke bowls!
Simply obsessed.
Their chicken Katsu customised poke bowls are so perfect, specially if you don’t like salmon or curry. Sushi and various starters are great taste and regular to generous portions too. Been ordering thru Deliveroo for over a year and I have never been disappointed, highly recommend!
Haven’t sit inside but place looks cute from outside, staff always kind and helpful on the phone!
Really cute, trendy place. I had sushi and my friend got the poke bowl, both were really nice.
Sushi was lovely, I wouldn’t say it was amazing but it was definitely very good!
And the atmosphere was nice as well - all high chairs and quite a well-lit “diner-style” place to eat so more catered to fast dining, I would say, than of a restaurant vibe. So I would recommend for quick lunches/dinners or takeaway but maybe not so much for a date or more relaxed dinner. But very cool for a quick stop by.

We did take out at Akiko for chilli chicken bento box and salmon poke bowl. Loved the bento box more than the poke bowl to be honest. Also I loved their Miso soup had to highlight that as well. Will definitely go back for sushi and other menu items.
Brilliant and delicious always..the make your own poke bowls are also such good value for money, considering the ingredients! And the new restaurant seating is so lovely. My go to anytime I'm in Glasgow
Hands down the best sushi in Glasgow. Amazing quality, generous servings and so delicious! We regularly get takeaway sushi and also decided to get Akiko to cater for a recent birthday party - not only was the food amazing but Harry was so helpful, kind and gave outstanding service. Can’t recommend highly enough!
Popped in for a salmon Poke on Saturday afternoon. The place was nice and quiet and the poke was incredibly fresh and tasty. Only thing that could've made it slightly better was if there were some set poke bowl options, for those of us who are super indecisive. I'll definitely be back.
What a great place! We've been a couple of times in the last month, and highly recommend the poke bowl. They use really fresh ingredients and a good choice of toppings. A quick, tasty, and healthy place to eat out - we'll definitely be regular customers :)
The food from here was very fresh, varied, and overall delicious for lunch or dinner. The staff were very friendly and efficient :) The brunette with her hair in a bun today was especially helpful and lovely , and she provided plain tofu for my poke bowl rather than the regular option with sweet chilli, which I really appreciated! I would highly recommend ordering from here.
