Lovely food. North African style chicken stew, came with hummus, salad n pitta bread. Extremely friendly service, the owner was lovely and made an effort to talk to the customers rather than just take their money. Did not have to wait long atall for food, a matter of minutes.

If you want to experience something unique and different, while supporting a cool wee group of ladies who are bringing us their beautiful food from their diverse geographic backgrounds, go here!!! The menu changes all the time based on who is cooking and what their homeland's cuisine is. I've been wanting to try it for ages and today I got. It lived up to expectation and more . It has a lovely clean and simple interior and the staff were super lovely. Today was an Eritrean vibe, so we had Eritrean Baba Gouash and hummus with pitta, and soup. Its cheap and it's delicious. Come and expand your vista here, I promise if you like your food, you'll love it here. I can't wait to go back!

I approached Soul Food Sisters to cater for our joint 50th birthday party last week. Djamila was so kind and helpful and they came up with a fantastic finger buffet. All our guests really enjoyed the food and I loved meeting Djamila and her colleagues. I can’t wait to use them again!

This is a very welcoming place with friendly staff and tasty food. The food is vegetarian and vegan and the prices are affordable. What is amazing about this place is that they are social enterprise and they organise workshops to help people in learning how to make healthy and cheap meals at home. Worth a visit. The flatbread is a must try.

So much soul in one cafe it's hard to describe how delicious the food is and how friendly the team is. All I can advise is to make sure you visit!

Can't recommend highly enough. Lovely staff and fantastic homemade delicious food. We had lentil soup and some Algerian stew which was superb. And we also had some biscuits which were absolutely brilliant!

Wow. What a place! Got to try some Algerian food that I've not come across before, and it was superb. Shared a flaky flat bread with a veg filling and a vegetable stew with rice. Both items had super flavours, and were wholesome and healthy. Really well balanced meal that I won't forget any time soon. A must visit if you are near the Barras. Its only open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday lunch times though! Also tried the biscuits and pastries, simply amazing!

My boyfriend and I took the Algerian Vegan Stew to take away and it was really really delicious ! The ladies were also very friendly and kind, they even offer us some fruits & dessert to go with our main dish. I highly recommend.
