One of the bestest restaurants I’ve ever been to in a while!! Simply loved it. The mutton soup in the beginning is free and was so heart warming on a cold day. Loved every single dish and prices are great. I have to travel along way to get there but will definitely go there again and again and again. Very authentic Arab food and the staff are so so good.

Went here for an impromptu celebration dinner. Had driven past so many times, and finally stopped to go in. Incredible staff who brought us free soup before the meal. We then had a sizzling Yemeni vegetable dish and Lamb with rice. All the food was incredible, lots left over to take home. Along with a complimentary mint tea at the end. Definitely going back again!

No alcohol, obviously. But I had a drink billed as "lemon and mint" which turned out to be a slush puppy kinda thing. A tad sweet for my taste, but actually went very well with the food. We shared the mixed appetiser plate – lamb samosas, stuffed vine leaves, falafels, hummus and a babaganoushy aubergine thang – with some fatoush and flatbreads. Plus we had the wet beans – oh, these were fabulous. Haricot beans in a tomato sauce spiced with something the waiter could only describe as "Yemeni spice". I think it was some Za'atar kind of thing. Anyway, absolutely fabulous. Mopped it all up with some lovely Syrian-style #flatbread and it was utterly delicious. The service was lovely, and they gave us a complimentary glass of #Arabic #tea (I'm not actually a fan of tea, but I drank most of it to not be discourteous. A judicious dod of sugar helps.) I'm always on the hunt for a good Yemeni restaurant, and this one was wonderful!! The salta, fahsa, foul and shakshuka were all amazing! The adeni chai is delicious too (and the knafeh!) Come here and order all the things. Love this Yemeni restaurant!!

Amazing food for a very very reasonable price! The lamb and chicken in the Beryani and Kabsa were cooked to absolute perfection and were melting in the mouth. The falafel were fantastic, super light and crispy. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Yemeni and Gulf cuisine! Service was quite slow initially, even drinks took ages to come, but maybe that was because it was very late at night and there weren’t many servers.

We ordered a few different dishes. All dishes had distinct tastes. It was served with two different types of rice. Yummy food and a good experience overall. Good customer service and a decent place to sit. We were stuffed, so we didn't get a chance to try their desserts. We will visit soon again to try more things from the menu.

Delicious Yemeni food, and very friendly service. Great value money and really decent portion sizes. Try the fahsa, a sizzling lamb stew with fenugreek - so tasty! Everything tastes very fresh and the meat tender.

Loved it. Not a big menu but maybe something other places should learn from. Everything we had was delicious and very well priced. A little soup and tea with baklava complimentary. Very friendly and appreciative staff. Highly recommend

Visited on a cold and soggy midweek November 2023 night - expecting the place to be quiet. But nearly all the tables were taken, with a great cross section of nationalities. On the plus side. Staff are very friendly, the free soup and free baklava were a lovely touch and the prices were reasonable. The food was also very fresh/tasty. The only issues we had were the service was a bit haphazrd, we had to remind them about our drinks order (it was only then that we noticed other tables and the tradition seems to be to serve drinks AFTER and not with your food - worth maybe bearing in mind). Would certainly recommend the place and hopefully they will continue to thrive.

This place was beyond excellent. Food, service and general surroundings were first class. Never tried this type of food previously but our friendly server gave some great advice. Quality, freshness, presentation and taste blew my mind. From the prestarter lamb broth to the refreshing Arabic tea to finish everything was perfection. Highly recommend. Great VFM.

This is my go to restaurant whenever I have guests visiting me. The food is beyond excellent, portions are massive and service is extremely efficient. It never disappoints. I recently went with my friends and she started tearing up mid meal, as the food reminded her of her mum’s cooking! Can’t recommend this place enough

We came from Edinburgh all the way to Glasgow to eat at this restaurant in Ramadan. The have ‘iftar’ meal. Really their meat sambosa and soup were wow. They served dates, laban and arabic coffee soup, sambosa, main dish meat rice and dessert. The Ramadanic decorations and iftar were spiritual. We enjoyed it a lot. The staff were so nice so much respect. The only thing missing is a prayer corner I hope they consider it.
