Gloriosa - Glasgow - Photo album

Our first time here and this is one of the best meals I have had for a while. Delicious, fresh, seasonal and well executed. There was lots on the menu we wanted to try. We will have to come back to try some more dishes. Favourites for me were the artichoke and the cacio e pepe. The red cabbage als
Very delicious, everything fresh and seasonal and the best focaccia I have tried Bit on the expensive side but def worth it!
Pros: - Great selection of meat and veggie dishes - All but one of our plates were delicious (the aubergine dish in particular was amazing) - The space is nice and bright Cons: - The service is lacking, especially given the price point of the restaurant. No one explained the menu to us (most small
One of the best meals out I’ve had in Glasgow! Every dish was delicious and the atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely too. The waiter even gave us some of the amazing focaccia to take home with us. Gloriosa is a must try!
Went here with my boyfriend twice when he was over as we’d walked past at lunchtime and thought something smelled good. Staff are super lovely and attentive, we felt really looked after here, and the food is superb. Boyfriend and I still having discussions over how the focaccia bread is made and if
Probably one of the best meals in a long time. The food is lovingly made whilst you wait. The food is served when it is ready just like home. They make ambrosia here not just food. The soup which seemed improbable as porcini and fennel was a devine texture and delicious. The roasted butternut squas
Absolutely lovely atmosphere, delicious food, great prices, perfect portions, kind and friendly team. I enjoyed the egg focaccia and it was quite nice. Most definitely will be back. As a professional server who works in a high-end restaurant, well done Gloriosa!
Gloriosa is a glorious restaurant ;) Basically, the interior design is great except for the acoustic. This is unfortunately not a great place for acoustically sensitive people - investing in sound absorbing system would really be a big plus. The food is well thought through but even all the five veg
Small plates sharing menu. Short list of options, all done very well with interesting interpretations of some of my favourite tapas dishes. Menu changes frequently, which means I'm highly likely to return several times!
An excellent restaurant with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and tasty food. Lots of delicious vegan options on the menu - we ordered them all and every dish was superb. The restaurant is dog-friendly too and we received a very warm welcome.
Wonderful food. Most of what we had was vegetarian although we are not vegetarians. It was delicious, fresh and freshly prepared. And very interesting. The best meal out we’ve had for ages. Great staff helpful not overbearing. I wish we lived near here !
Sunday evening dinner. Reasonably quiet but nice chilled atmosphere. The food from the foccacia through to the meringue were fabulous. Really interesting dishes with mixes of ingredients that I would never think of but they work. A kitchen with freedom and skills!
This place is in a great location, I sat by the window, the Art Galleries in the distance and watched all the regular stuff going on. Firstly, it’s a bonus to get a decent wine, totally stunning……the food is different, quite edgy without being too swanky. And the staff were absolutely delightful. I
Excellent cuisine. I really appreciated the way we were encouraged to share several dishes. Lovely staff. We felt welcome and looked after but not in an intrusive way. I'll be back. First class.
Excellent food and atmosphere let down by the service. Looking at past reviews it seems the service can be hit or miss here and unfortunately I seem to have gone on a 'miss' day. This was especially disappointing as I'd been recommended Gloriosa by a couple of people. We went on a bank holiday Mond
