Thoroughly enjoyable dinner. Excellent quality. Well thought out dishes and great service.
Blown away by the quality of the food at the Prancing Stag. Small but mighty menu filled with fresh, seasonal dishes which were all presented beautifully. Great wine selection too. Lovely interior which feels homely yet intimate and exclusive. Very friendly staff who were excellent, particularly whe
Fantastic meal at The Prancing Stag which never ever disappoints. I had an old friend come up from London who was blown away by the tasty Scottish sourced food. It was great to see every table booked on Friday night.... so make sure you book.
Exceptional flavours, tasty wines and all the little thoughtful special touches, always makes the dining experience at The Prancing Stag a really reliably outstanding experience. Can not recommend highly enough.
This little hidden gem on the west side certainly delivers if you are looking for an intimate place with great food and solid service. The chef appears to be practicing for a Michelin star.
Hadn't been here for ages, but it's still a nice place for dinner, and on Thursday evening it was pretty quiet, we got without a reservation. The special was pan-fried trout, and it was delicious. For dessert, I had a gluten-free chocolate number that was a goodly sized portion. I almost couldn't fi
Brilliant restaurant. Lovely food and wines at a very reasonable price. Helpful and friendly staff. I would recommend and will definitely be back.
Spectacular food! Very small place and kinda charming. Not crowded. Fantastic secret find. Surprised not larger/fancier.... Just a matter of time for word to spread more. One of best dinners of my life! (Seriously)
Fantastic little gem of a restraunt. We where well looked after by Rory form the minute we arrived till we left. Food was fab Will most certainly be back.
Food was excellent but disappointed in the portion size of 'fish of the day'. It was red mullet & I would have expected a reasonable sized fillet - what I was presented with was 3 50p sized pieces of fish! More suitable as a starter. I would have been happier paying slightly more to to get a a decen
A real culinary experience! Locally sourced product prepared and served with pride. Highly recommend!
Came back here recently and it's improved. Food was excellent, staff were attentive, covid measures were safe and effective. The outdoor covered and heated space was very good and made the evening very comfortable.
Really surpassed my expectations of a neighbourhood restaurant. The food was delicious and quite inventive. Definitely nothing you would make at home!
What an amazing find. Tucked away behind shops on Crow Road, Jordanhill. This restaurant deserves a 5 star review. My friend took me here for my birthday. The menu tho’ not extensive, offered a good seasonal choice. We opted for the 3 course set lunch menu, & each course was delicious. Mini hot rol
Really very tasty food. Service was great, and friendly. As a point of info, we sat outside and they had heaters as well as blankets for the chairs. Would heavily recommend.
Stumbled upon the Prancing Stag during a lockdown walk, then I started following on Social media where I first saw the delicious, well presented meals on offer. When they were back open after lock down we booked a table and we were not disappointed. Staff were great and their knowledge of wines th
I have chosen this place for my birthday lunch based on the good reviews and I have to say it didn't disappoint a bit. The staff was so gentle and every dish was so tasty.
Such a lovely delicious meal! Was very impressed and surprised with the quality of this meal, could not fault it in any way. Thank you
Very good food and great cocktails. It’s very close to the train station and always warm and cozy.
