I hadn't had anything from Mario's for years and thought to order tonight. Ordered fried pizza supper. Was nice but the pizza should be turned upside down on to chips as the filling just sticks on top of cardboard box. Kabab was nice too.delivered super early. Would order again.
Food is generally good quality, however, i bought a king rib supper one day and it was very greasy, which made me feel ill for the rest of the evening.
Opening hours are also incorrect, i have past many times in the afternoon and the shop was closed. They are always open in the evening though.
Staff are friendly very professional in a stressful environment. Any issues Freddie the Friern will come to help rectify. His fish is superb chips tastey and never have any complaints food hygiene is high to. I am a happy customer cheers to all the staff pizza is tastey and fresh
Update : been there now past couple of months. Pizzas consistently amazing. Revised rating to 5!
I go to this chippy every now and then and will continue to do so. I do find that sometimes it can hit the spot, but just as often miss the spot. I mainly go for pizza, and seems to vary in quality every time I go .Although has been slightly more consistent recently.
On a Friday/Saturday evening expect to wait a while for your order. I have seen people display there displeasure at the wait. Seems to be a common problem in Paisley that Chippys struggle to cope with online orders. The same happens down the road at The sherwood.
Superb fast food shop that serves great food with excellent portions at great prices.
Service is friendly and quick and it can be pretty busy at certain times of the day.
I can't recommend this place enough.
Amazing fish I cannot say anything bad about it at all, tastes amazing tbh I don't eat fish from anywhere else, kids love the sausage suppers they're massive left helpful tip to help delivery driver with address as I stay in tricky area to find and he was here in no time was really surprised, great service cannot default it.. Will deftly be back :)x
Mario's chippy is the best I've been to in Glasgow sometimes may be a bit slow but thats because ALL orders are made fresh which is what you want from a good chippy staff always warm and friendly

Very busy, everything freshly cooked to order, fish & chips are consistently good quality.
The best fish and chip in glasgow by a mile. Just wish we had pizza Marios in middlsbrough.
