The best in Glasgow. They excel in every way, from the selection available and quality of food right through to how friendly the staff are AND at low prices.
The New York pizza is by far the best pizza in the area, had it twice in a week!! Chicken wings are ok, nothing special. Friendly staff and a welcome addition to the neighbourhood.
I ordered for the first time on just eat, based on the reviews, now I’m checking Google reviews and I’m shocked, was I lucky that my food been amazing and hot ? A lot bad reviews people who fussy, remove this add this 😆 well if you can’t chose anything from the menu or wait, simple: cook it yourself . Btw you can’t trust Google review as anyone can write it even if they didn’t order anything. Proper homemade pizza dough, not like some cheap take away or supermarkets pizzas from the freezer ha
Looking forward to my another pizza
First order from this place, ordered via just eat but there are tons of reviews for everywhere there and they seem largely meaningless so leaving here. Ordered an 18" four cheese pizza on a garlic butter base with spinach on it as a paid extra for just under £20 with delivery. The plan was that since it's 18" I'd have it for dinner and a fair bit left over for the next morning. The pizza was done extremely well, I don't know if they do all ingredient combinations this well but there were thicker creamy cheesy parts, a sprinkle of fairly strong parmesan, hint of garlic all around. There was a thin layer of the spinach all over the pizza kinda melted into it (not a thick watery blob of it as you can sometimes get). Due to all this I failed to follow the plan and finished the entire pizza over 2 hours or so with the classic "just one more slice" feeling getting too strong every 20 mins.
Delivery wise, for reference I live 2 miles from the place - it came in 45 mins, this was 10 mins less than estimated. There are some places that seem to be able to deliver within 20-30 mins, but to be honest making a proper 18" pizza and delivering it all within 45 mins is very reasonable if you think about it, and I could probably wait up to 70ish mins before considering it a negative. As long as the estimates are accurate, or if there is a delay I'm notified about it and given the option to cancel that's perfect. There are some places that can be 30 mins, even an hour later than estimated that don't even notify you of this so you have to sit in and be available to open the door for 2 hours, this wasn't that, and was quick so, perfect.
Sophia Loren Pizza is the best especially the 16inch! Chips & cheese also amazing!!! Very friendly staff always :)
Great service, lovely food, friendly staff
Really good food and service. Would recommend
Got a bruschetta and also a pasta which was called are quattro staionio, not sure. But very got damn nice. Think it's better cold. But tasty. Stop using so much pepper. Just a bit too much. But damn nice. And fresh
The bruschetta the bread was beautiful and the tomato's they were lovely and fragrant and I wish I had more but alas there are not and I'm so sad, but what can you do.
Good meal. I have to say 👌🏻👌🏻
Been craving proper restaurant food all of lockdown and Dario Pizzeria didn't disappoint!! We shared spicy sausage and pepperoni pizza, Genovsse chicken penne and Pollo fritto which all tasted amazing. Wee chocolate fudge cake for afters. Food came before schedule. Would defo recommend cause I will order again.
Tagliatelle with seafood was delicious, i wasnt expect so many of prawn and squid pieces which is very nice. And the funghi fritti with garlic sauce also gets the job done. Delivery was 30 minutes before time, for sure i will order again ;)
