Ordered a red velvet medium picture cake. Taste excellent - not too sweet, moist, decorated just the way my little boy wanted. Size was suggested by the bakery and they were spot on. Would recommend this bakery and I’ll order from them again. It was a pleasant surprise that the cake tasted so good and for a reasonable price as well. Compared to other birthday cakes I’ve ordered over the years (some from some hyped up bakeries) for kids’ birthdays this one was the best so far. It’s just so nice and such a relief to get exactly what I paid for.
Great bakery - the super friendly staff were very helpful. Went there to collect a giant empire biscuit for a friend. Tried a lasagna pie for the first time. Recommended!! (Unless you're on a diet 😁)

I have had 4 birthday cakes from this bakery and every one is absolutely beautiful I will not order from anywhere else now as this bakery has never let me down. Also I have had other bakery goods and all are fantastic especially the steak bakes and mince pies . I recommend this bakery above all else they are fantastic.
The lentil soup was amazing , great service every time
Pineapple cake, scones and caramel cups were nice, kids not tooo keen on nutella crumble bars.
I really reccomend the gateau, great birthday cakes too and easy to collect from their Thornliebank main bakery.
