Loved their burritos, quesadillas & enchiladas. Stopped-by almost everyday for takeaway lunch on my way to glasgow library. Very fresh & filling. Lipsmacking !!
Amazing!!!!!!!!. Not Usually a fan of Mexican food but visited TacoMazama on Byres road in the West end of Glasgow last night and challenged my friend to a man v food style eat off.
I had a king-size BURRITO and my friend the king-size FAJITA. Food tasted amazing, very fresh and the extra hot salsa is HOT. We could only manage half our food and the lovely staff were nice enough to wrap and bag the rest to go.
Changed my mind about Mexican. Will defiantly be back or order home delivery next time.

Spreading Like Wildfire. The Byres Road needed a fast food Mexican and this ever expanding chain has pipped Pinto to claim the area (for now). It's bright and colourful and the burritos are huge, good value and tasty. It was busy when I visited but worth the wait.
I had the burritto with beef & chorizo chilli- it was really tasty and theres a little bar to sit in at with 3 or 4 seats. Really good value for money the portions are big. Recommended x
Hefty burritos. Food: this busy Byres Road shop sells Mexican/American food (I believe it's based on a San Francisco style taqueria - thanks wikipedia), and it does so in large portions. The price list seems - at first sight - fairly expensive for a 'takeaway' style eatery: the standard burrito is £4.99, a fajita is £5.49 and so on. But a burrito is BIG. It's at least a pound and a half of salsa (mild, spicy or masochistic), rice and beans, salad, and a filling of your choice of main filling (the marinated chicken and aubergine chilli fillings), and sour cream if you want it. A half portion runs at £2.50 to £3.00, and can be accompanied by a variety of side dishes.
Service: the dishes are assembled rapidly by friendly staff, and the shop is open until 10 to 11 at night, so it's great for those late-night munchies. The burritos are wrapped up in reflective paper, and I'd recommend having a fork on hand when eating one, as the sheer volume of filling can result in spillages.
Summary: abundant portions, very filling, ideal for taking back to the office.
very cozy mexican café.
so, i ordered a king size burrito without noticing their board for burrito challenge winners 😂 their portion is MASSIVE. so for one person regular or even small size is okay 👍 and they have separate discounted burrito options for students as well ✨ just opposite to Pret (Byers Road). and I loved their Mexican lemonade so I will highly recommend that with your burrito ✅ overall.. I liked it🌯
My partner and I came in today, later in the day and was surprised to see how quiet it was and was worried.
We were pleasantly surprised by a friendly service and spectacular food order. My partner had the pulled pork and I had the Veggie Chilli, we shared nachos and it was better than most subways I have had! The staff catered towards my dietary requirements, making the distinction between me being vegetarian or vegan.
All in all a great little place, would definitely return again and I would love to see this business in more places.
Popped in here to try the soft tacos and burrito.
Tacos were delicious. Small matter of improvement for the chain as a whole would be to offer soft corn tortillas and not just wheat, but this review isn't taking that as part of tbr experience.
Food was good and service was quick. Salsa tasted like it was chopped tomatoes poured out of a tin, but everything else including the guac, meat and rice tasted good and fresh.
Good food, great quantity for the price. Chicken quesadillas were really good although the presentation was mediocre. Special mention to the chips and dips side. It was enormous!
Best burritos in Glasgow. Like the customisation as standard. Staff are trained well. Very filling and tasty food
Food was absolutely awesome and the staff were great, friendly and helpful!
My partner got the vegan option and it was delicious, as was my pulled pork. :)
Great for students as there is a discount. Food can be made in literally 1 minute. Staff always friendly.
enjoyed the food and might order in the future, but won’t be sitting in. the staff looked so miserable and sounded like they didn’t want to be there, which is fair enough, but i just felt like a nuisance and it didn’t make for a nice atmosphere. the place was “dead” (as the staff referred to it), so we were served quickly, but they still ignored part of our order somehow. still, it’s a bit too expensive for what they offer.. but it tastes nice. and i appreciate the vegan options!
Great service and lovely atmosphere.
Quick and easy to order.
Will definitely be back.
The best burritos! Made completely customised to suit your preferences with lots of choice of fillings
Got 3 nachos with tofu. Wasn't impressed with the flavour, quite bland. Small portions too. Staff were nice.
I've always had a good experience eating here whether eating in or taking away. The staff are always friendly, the food is always good and there's usually enough seating to sit in should I want to when I visit around lunchtime.
