Just wandered through the park after visiting the Hunterian Art Gallery. We saw a sign for food at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery but wanted somewhere different. We came across An Clachan and knew it was what we were looking for. The food Smoked salmon & scrambled eggs was delicious & so was the cake we had after. Relaxed surroundings and lovely staff, I'd highly recommend. Better signage in the park would help people find it, but perhaps it's already well known (& maybe the authorities won't allow it) Would definitely return though unfortunately we're not from here so may not get the chance.

Arrived late in the day 3.45pm but had tea and homemade cake which was delicious! The four of us got a personal pot of tea each and the vanilla sponge with cream and raspberries was very light and yummy! Carrot cake cupcake was equally tasty! Fresh baking was just out the oven as well!

Wonderful view, the service is great and the food is delicious. Does the best egg roll in Glasgow with 2 big poached eggs and lots of butter. <3 the chocolate brownies too. I like the relaxed, bright atmosphere and natural wood furniture. It's an excellent venue to host events at, including live music! My cafe of choice when the sun is shining :)

Love this cafe. Friendly service, excellent home baking & great coffee. If you have kids and lucky enough to be there on a dry day you can sit outside and watch your kids play in the park & admire the views. What's not to like?

Vegetable Lasagne. Amazing veggie lasagne, made with a chilli chickpea stew, packed with veg, creamy, cheesy tomato sauce. Delish! The staff are lovely, friendly and fast! Fantastic place!

There is something special about this little cafe. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming (even when they are busy). The food is delicious and great quality and the coffee is excellent. (Best cappuccino in the west end). The decor is cute and eclectic and there’s always a buzz with parents, dog walkers and locals. I make a point of popping in every time I pass. Never been disappointed yet.

My go to place when working any Wednesday- Sunday in the area. It’s pointless going anywhere else IMHO Home made sausage rolls with mustard- wonderful!!!! And nice coffee. An absolute gem.

We had a lovely lunch here today. The roasted vegetables with avocado and hummus roll served with a side salad was really fresh and tasty. Plenty of tea in the pot too. We had two cups each. We followed it with a delicious and clearly homemade fruit scone with just a hint of cinnamon. There was really pleasant music playing in the café and the nice thing was that it wasn't too loud. It was just right and added to the lovely, relaxed atmosphere of the place. The café is in an unassuming little building next to the children's park. This really was a lovely and unexpected find. Yesterday we had lunch at the Garnet Hill Singl End café which I was really looking forward to after seeing it on Instagram. It was a real disappointment. Today's lunch at An Clachan beat it hands down for quality, taste and atmosphere. This is a real hidden gem 🥰

Says that the restaurant is open today until 16pm but it is only open wednesday to sunday (this comment was modified because the restaurant did change the opening hours afterwards)

Excellent coffee, 5 of us plus 2 dogs, good soup, sausage roll (really a sausage Wellington it was so big) beautiful and tasty, the vegetarian breakfast impressed the vegetarian contingent. And all served with a smile! Wish it was closer to home. Highly recommended.
