The view of the mountains is amazing. Lovely friendly staff and the food. I have had the breakfast (only just managed to eat it all, but I had to it was so nice.) The burgers on Dave's Diner are filling and are not fast food, a proper butcher style burger, plenty of meat. Bistro night was special and the food absolutely stunning. If you are in the area you have to visit. I would strongly recommend Dave's diner and the bistro nights for that something a little more special.

Well what can I say? A diamond find. My kids, hubby and I had lunch here yesterday and back for breakfast today, faultless. Totally recommend the Goats cheese, beetroot, rocket and onion toastie A great selection of delicious homemade cakes also, I even spied Gluten free too! Fresh coffee and a stunning view, what else can you ask for. Next time we will definitely be booking into one of the special Bistro nights. Nicola at front of house was so welcoming, friendly and professional, what a wee star . Cannot wait to return. David and Kellie you are doing a fabulous job. Top marks for a top chef xxx

Just had brunch and it just hit the spot. Always well worth the journey from Alloa. Staff friendly and great food with a view as well as a well stocked Garden Centre next door.

This is an undiscovered gem. A relaxed bistro feel, with locally sourced ingredients and all dishes made from scratch. Very reasonably priced too . Smoked salmon . Great venue for a day out from the city, to meet friends for coffee or lunch. It’s my favourite meeting place, and the views from the conservatory restaurant are fantastic. Yet to try Dave’s Diner on a Friday night, but hear great things

Had lunch yesterday with Anne ( 4th Feb) Lentil soup with Brie, ham and cranberry toastie. The toastie was the best filled I have ever had. Loads of ham and Brie. Too full for cakes but bought two fruit slices for home. They were full of fruit and delicious . Recommend this place.

Stopped here for a browse today and had lovely coffee and cake! Best latte we've had for a while and the cranberry slice which we shared was yummy - liked the nutty base :) Great views and friendly staff. Well worth a detour.

An excellent welcome is guaranteed at the 'Kitchen'. The pop-up Bistro is a sheer delight. A short carte means there is no 'over blown' menu. A duo of smoked salmon was delicious. Lamb shank was unctuous, the veg just al dente with a mint pea highlight and enough port jus to go round..this is a real treasure of an eatery......with a talented young chef at the helm.

I really love it here. They do great lunch deals & fabulous steak. The last time I opted for the roast dinner, it was good, but I much prefer the steak!! I got the lunch deal the day before & opted for the steak & fries ~ delicious! Definitely worth it. The photos are what we had the last 2 times I went along.

Great food, been there several times. They have one of the best medium rare steak. And a side note, if you only eat halal meet, you can still go, just make sure you book a day or two prior and let them know

Absolutely loved our steaks and cocktails, and the service was fab. We ordered the broccoli as a side dish and it was enough for two people. Favourite cocktail was the coconut and ginger daiquiri - but they were all great tbh! We will definitely be back for another visit!

Visiting Glasgow for the weekend. Had the opportunity to try the Sunday roast here and it was AH-MA-ZING, great food and really nice staff that made our last meal in this trip a really unforgettable one! The place is cozy but elegant, comfortable and with great music selection. A must if you’re in Glasgow on a Sunday!! PS: The sticky toffee pudding for dessert was pretty unforgettable too!!

I booked out their private dining room for 24x of us for the Christmas menu and we all had a great time. The food was excellent and I'd like to recognise Helen as being fantastic on the night! I actually would have eaten everything off the festive menu - super choices available!

We were in the private dining room for a baby shower, and everything was amazing. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was perfect for our celebrations and our lovely server Maddie went above and beyond at every opportunity. Maddie (and other staff like Ruby) were so attentive and understanding and genuinely kind- especially towards the children with us who have learning difficulties, and with us being a large group! We could not have asked for a better evening. Thank you for being such gracious hosts and a lovely venue

Great food and cocktails. I had the lamb - pricey but really delicious- and great old fashioned cocktail. The booths are a bit small for 5 /6 guests. Also the service midweek in a 2/3 empty restaurant was pretty slow - one person at my table had to wait nearly 15 min for a beer. So only 4/5 from me.

Came here for our 10th Wedding Anniversary after recommendation. We were not disappointed. Compliments to the chef, Food was amazing.. five star presentation, cooked to perfection, brilliant value too. Patrick and Reece were our waiters and could not have been nicer or more efficient. A very chic restaurant with a modern and lovely ambience. Highly recommend MacMillan Pub and Chop. We will definitely be back with friends and family in the near future.
