What a wonderful experience my wife and I had at the Hilton Glasgow. We were only able to stay for a night but we wish we could have had more. We arrived at the hotel early, we were coming from Dublin and it was about 10am. Although our room was not ready, they took our bags and Thomas, I believe he was the concierge, took us aside and ran down all the options for activities we could partake in while we were waiting to check-in. He recommended a great brunch place and mapped out a route if we wanted to explore and visit the University that provided two different options to visit different parts of Glasgow on the way to and from the school. We did exactly what he recommended and it was lovely. Upon returning, our room was ready and the gentleman who checked us in let us know that he was excited to give us a free upgrade. He wasn't kidding. We were in a corner room at the top floor with a beautiful view of the city. We even had a balcony we could step out onto and take in the sites. In addition to the great room and service, the restaurant staff were attentive and friendly and overall, we really loved our experience at Hilton Glasgow. Can't say enough.

Large hotel with tons of facilities, very nice bar, restaurant and the executive club was a nice touch for eating breakfast in a little more peace than the main restaurant. 20 floors and the higher rooms are super quiet despite being next to the motorway. Food was excellent as were the staff. A bit of a walk into central Glasgow and not surrounded by the nicest of streets but minor complaint overall.

Quiet, clean, professional. The location is near two different sets of bus lines. The air in the room was always great. The fridge was quiet. The tea kettle a nice touch. Room clean and it's just a great hotel.

Bed & pillows were so comfortable. Staff were friendly & accommodated an early check in without issue. The shower was amazing! The toiletries were fantastic as well. Really enjoyed staying at this location & walked everywhere from here.

The facility was beautiful and clean. The service was absolutely perfect, especially Lazaro. The food was great, especially the restaurant for dinner. The only reason why I put four stars is that the pool was not included in our stay and we had to pay for the entrance. Otherwise it was great!

Excellent hotel, great staff. Had a standard room, great size and amenities. Tea tray substandard at this price point, but the room is very comfortable and bed excellent. Good gym and very good breakfast. It's a little out of the centre but well located if you drive, about 15mins walk from the main stations. Highly recommended.

I had a business stay for a couple days. Friendly and accommodating staff. The luxury room was excellent, I slept well and the bathroom had plenty of room. Breakfast was very good and you are well looked after by the staff. No doubt I will stay here again. Decent onsite parking (approach and bays are a bit tight) with a reasonable daily tariff but sad to see most of the destination chargers had ICE cars parked in the bays so let them know if you need one reserving though you maybe better visiting a local fast charger.

Absolutely lovely hotel after its refurbishment. Rooms are beautiful and well designed. Breakfast is very well organized and plenty of options avaliable. Great service, especially from the staff at reception and the executive lounge. The food is great in the lounge to and a great idea having ordered platters. My 3rd time here and won't be my last. Great location too.

I stay in Glasgow a lot for work and the Hilton provides the comfort I need. Lovely rooms, great service, on site parking and a superb breakfast! I already have my next two visits booked!

One of the best Hilton’s I’ve stayed at internationally, the Hilton Glasgow is a great representation of the brand. The hotel seems to be recently updated and has a clean and modern look. Rooms are a good size and have very comfortable beds and a good bathroom layout. The hotel was quiet and service throughout was great. The breakfast buffet was top notch and the hotel did a good job acknowledging our status with Hilton. The only downside is while the location is central and close to “downtown” Glasgow, it’s not particularly walkable and you may end up taking an Uber or Taxi.

The hotel is one of the best hotels in Glasgow based on previous visits to the city. We really enjoyed our stay for few days. The staff are friendly and the quality of the rooms and reception area is plus. The breakfast is good. It's a 10 to 15-minute walk to the main central train station and the city center.

To start off with the negative- the location really isn‘t top of the pops. The HG is surrounded by either motorway feeder or dark alleys next to adjacent office buildings from all sides, where you feel uncomfortable after dark. However, everything else IS top of the pops 👍: Very friendly service, well trained staff hitting just the right tone, helpful and interested in the guests‘ well-being. In my experience a highly trained staff like that with a common level of proficiency indicates high-quality management. Furthermore spaceous rooms with nice interior, excellent breakfast buffet with the best porridge in Glasgow and many hot and cold specials including a real honeycomb with honey. Very nice spa area with a surprisingly large pool for a city hotel. In summary, after two days we thought „Well, Hilton is Hilton after all!“ There are a few peculiarities, but I want to stress that I mention these rather as curiosities, this really is complaining on a high comfort level: (1) The difference between the central section of the breakfast sitting area and the periphery behind the separation wall is so great that we initially thought the latter area was restricted for suite residents only. Feels a bit like Titanic first vs. second class and we were really pleasantly surprised that the much more cosy and comfortable area behind the sliding doors was also open for everyone. (2) Beautifully renovated rooms, however the interior architect must have been member of a religious cult that considers drawers of any kind to be the essence of evil: There are box-like elements next to the bed, under the sideboard and under the sink, perfectly looking like drawers - but without any openings or moving parts (!!), just mock-up minecraft boxes. Also inside the large wardrobe: no shelf, no drawers. You end up in a large luxurious room living out of your suitcase for want of any storage space 😢.

Have to say, it's really excellent. Invited to a wedding reception in the ballroom. Food, drinks all first class and staff very helpful. We didn't stay overnight.
