Went tonight for a family meal (16 of us ) ws a great service from the girl behind the bar very very helpful n very nice attitude the food ws all ordered at diff times bt came wen supposed to n ws absolutely delicious nt 1 complaint did any of us have with anythin n I would highly recommend this place to evry 1 very reasonably priced may I add as well n it's by far my favourite place to eat b4 anywhere else.

Food was delicious - we ordered the sizzling fajitas and chicken and both were delicious - food was hot and portion size was just right. Good variety of drinks and usual bar prices. Staff were lovely, there were only 2 staff covering both bars but they did so with little waiting time and engaged with everyone. It’s been years since I have visited this wee place and forgot how much l liked it, will definitely be back

Very reasonable prices, nice and friendly staff, live sports, full functioning pub and a little restaurant in the back. Be good in the summer to sit in the beer garden and enjoy the trees with my dogs. Will be back :)
Lovey staff took time to chat to children great service also we all enjoyed our meals and deserts were delicious definitely be back again and again our local love it
Popped in for some food and a beer. The staff were friendly the pub was tidy, a tad quiet but it's a Monday. Had the Caribbean chicken skewers which were lovely, my lad had surf and turf which was cooked to his liking. The beer war nice and cold, good all round, thanks.
Too much salad but tasty. Fajitas wraps were a bit stale/rubbery. Drinks good. Service fast and friendly.
Food is excellent for the price and staff are very professional.
When we arrived we were welcomed with a smile and served drinks straight away we ordered our lunch (SIZZLING SKILLETS)and it was amazing we will definitely be back again and again
Food was good, service was great, just a bit run down inside, menus on the table were dirty and stuck together, had to wipe them before we could order food
Brilliant food, steak cooked to perfection..a great atmosphere. Service was brilliant, Deborah is a powerhouse in the Gables..keep her, what an asset to the business, professional, fast and courteous.
Visited here with a friend food was lovely and very cheap. The waiter who dealt with us was very friendly and attentive ,and I would recommend here if your looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful!

Great afternoon with family getting a bite to eat and a few drinks. The food was really nice , excellent value for money as were the drinks. Lovely surroundings very relaxing . The staff could not do enough for you, was very impressed with the friendliness and work ethic they all had. Will definitely be back again soon, thank you.
A fantastic bar/ restaurant, everyone is made to feel so welcome by staff and regulars. Staff are so friendly, down to earth and always put their customers first. Caitlin is a wee star, that is so hardworking and not only does a brilliant job of bar tending and on the floor but goes out of her way to look out for customer needs.💜💜
Great late lunch today. First we'd been in this year. What a big change under the new management, it's all falling into place. Last in in Nov when menu had just changed. Big difference. Great choices. Plenty of condiments and stock of cutlery which was always running out when busy before. Karen waitress very welcoming. Her daughter is the new manager and we wish them success.
