Visited VP Glasgow Fort today with a Groupon voucher that was for an afternoon tea, when we arrived the staff informed us that they were fully booked for afternoon tea and they couldn't offer us this. Instead of turning us away they offered us to choose a sandwich each , scones and a full size cake each with tea/coffee . The staff really went out their way to make up for the fact we .weren't getting. Exactly what was stated on the voucher however it ended up being better.Atmosphere great , staff were amazing so helpful and friendly and the service was excellent . Food was fab and the cakes were delish as always . We will definitely return thanks to everyone who was on today especially our waitress who didn't have a name badge to personally thank, i never write reviews but I felt the staff and manager deserve the recognition for going out there way to make sure we were not leaving dissapointed 😀

Absolutely amazing place especially the gentleman serving us he is very friendly the cakes sold by them are big and truly amazing and the coffee tastes much better for me compared to the competition which I tried. I am recommending this place 100% to everybody.

Cakes are top notch, coffee not bad. Just lacks a wee bit of atmosphere. Could do with more soft furniture, the seats are hard! Ooft

Went to the Forte in Glasgow late in the day with a groupon voucher for afternoon tea, it had sold out but they said if we wished they could make us up something, which we accepted, the chap who served us couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant (wish I had gotten his name), the food was great and the pastries and cakes delicious, we had way too much food and they even put it in a box for us to take home, fantastic service in a lovely clean friendly environment... Thank you so much, we will be back x

It was a lovely place but unfortunately both my friend and myself ended up with diarrhoea later on that night, that was the only place we went together, it was my birthday treat from my son, they went into back of shop and brought out or stand some of the stuff had been heated, I wouldn't go back but staff were very nice, an i must say tea did look very nice

Service was good but they didn't have the selection of sandwich we wanted from the menu. Cakes were amazing though. 😋

After tasting real French macaroons and being devastated by not being able to find any as good as them at home, I was delighted when I bought the assorted macaroon box from patisserie Valerie and it tasted just like Paris! I can't leave the fort without going in!

It is not the same menu as other patisserie cafes because they don't have kitchen. So no lunch options. But service is good as usual.
