Despite some bad reviews, we decided to give it a go as it looked quite nice. They had an option for halal fish which they fried fresh in separate oil which was fantastic. The restaurant ambiance was lovely and the service was great too. Thought it was reasonably priced. The fish was fantastic, very
Great customer service and I liked the ambience of the resto. The Mozzarella bites were much better than the fish and chips and I would recommend trying different food items rather than just going for fish and chips which I didn't like that much. They have different rates for sitting-in and takeaway
Food was absolutely amazing. Best fishcakes I've ever had, the deep fried Mars bar with ice cream was so delicious. Service was very polite and quite quick.
Perfect stop for a traditional fish & chips. The staff (Witold and Yvonne) took great care of us. Super friendly. The deep fried Mars Bar was the perfect end to a great day in Glasgow.
I went looking for a traditional English breakfast, food was was great! but the Best part was the staff's attention, Craig and Yvonne were so friendly and helpfull that I came back for lunch, Fish and chips was Delicious! I will go back if I ever go back to Glasgow.
Home of the deep fried mars bar, Usually when I'm offered celebrations, I always try to avoid mars however this is just something else. The melted chocolate oozing with caramel out of the perfect batter makes for a mouthwatering experience. Definitely worth the trip to Glasgow, 10 out 10. Big sh
I’ve been visiting this restaurant for a few years now with friends, it is absolutely amazing! The food is so delicious that today I managed to finish my sausages within five minutes! The staff are friendly, the decorations and designs are beautiful, and the service is competent and patient. Overall
The deep fried Mars bar was very good. It’s exactly what it sounds but we had to try it on our last day in Scotland. It’s kinda overpriced and small (it’s the size of a Mars bar so duh but the ice cream scoop is small too). It’s 1£ extra if you eat it inside instead of takeaway but out totally for o
Great place very friendly staff. have gluten free menu and separate gluten free condiments not a lot of places do this. The service was great Good coffee Great food
Really liked the Fish&Chips here. The Deep Fried Mars bar was awesome and the service was really good. Got served by Nitesh who was quite friendly and polite. A well-maintained dine-in area with great ambience and clean facilities, the overall experience was pretty good. Highly recommended.
Great place to eat proper, chip shop food. Love the rumble of the trains to add to the atmosphere! My husband and I have visited on a number of occasions when back in Glasgow to visit family and food has been excellent every time! Today, we thoroughly enjoyed our haggis and pudding suppers and the g
The best fish and chips I’ve ever had. The batter was so light and crispy. Definitely go there if you get the chance
Busy Sunday night and they were able to seat us pretty much immediately after a quick clean down of the table. Despite serving an active restaurant as well as a take out stand with only 3 employees, they did great. Everything arrived fairly quick, all the food was hot and fresh and no complaints. Yv
The Blue Lagoon Fish & Chips in Argyle Street is an iconic fish and chips restaurant that serves high-quality food. I liked that there was the option of either taking the food out or eating inside. The tables were very clean and I've not had anything that matches the flavour of what Blue Lagoon offe
Great scran at the Blue Lagoon, 208 Argyle Street, Glasgow G2 8HA. Amin the Fryer and Nitesh the Server really put on a show. Well done, gentlemen... Your Deep Fried Mars Bar really went down a treat...
Great place for fish and chips. Very well maintained outlet. Even washrooms are very clean. Friendly service by the staff, very courteous. Not a great place for Burgers though. Try out their traditional fish and chips alone. Chips can be made little more crispier, sometimes the chips are really sog
