Freshly made, tasty food at decent prices. Good selection and good sized portions. Would recommend.

This had been the Mandarin and is under new management. I made an phone order last night to a charming young man called Johnny. He was so patient, polite and humorous, eager to accommodate my order which was mash up from an old Mandarin menu.
The food was perfectly fine. But to me, Johnny was the star of the show!!

young lad at reception is Alway polite and friendly . Food came on time. Never had any issues with this takeaway. We prefer their curry sauce over many others.
Got menu through door, so thought we would try it. Lovely! Girls loved the bbq sauce, I loved the seafood. Delivered early and text to say on way. Will definitely order again. Thank you!

He is always pleasant, polite , efficient and very knowledgeable about his menu!
Nothing is a bother for him he is always advising on new dishes or what to have if you feel like a change !
He remembers what you have had before and he adapts to the different palate tastes of your guests ie more chili less chili ! Or as I like my food with less sauce for example!
He gets it done !
The Crispy Duck is incredible ! The Turbo rice could feed a small army , the portion size is great !
The cook is terrific top class all ingredients fresh !

Have used this place a couple of times now after some other disappointing local takeaways. Really friendly and helpful staff, food is great and always arrives quickly and is always hot. Huge menu too. Will definetley be back and recommending to others. Thanks!

There's plenty of Chinese takeaways in the Clarkston area but The New Corner is the best. Once we found it we haven't went anywhere else. Definitely 5 stars.
Hubble's favourite takeaway have a loyalty card scheme only downfall doesn't always take card payments.....update took star off as now wont take card payment after 10pm ...shame

Now taking all cards all the time management have resolved issues and cards now welcome after 10pm star back on .
A great local Chinese takeaway. Portion sizes are really generous and the food is fab! Delivery service was super efficient and the delivery driver was lovely. Would highly recommend.
