It's wonderful this area of Glasgow is being brought back to its original vibe, albeit in another way. The city is full of talent and friendly people. I am so pleased we moved back here and can rediscover what was my favourite childhood place!

Had my 40th in here and they went above and beyond for me. They set out the terrace with tables and lots of fizz for all my guests. It was a great afternoon/night! The food was beautiful and the servce was 5 star! The staff, are so nice and friendly. They could not do enough, even setting aside tables in the main courtyard area for us to enjoy the rest of the evening. Also a special mention to Kelly for sorting everything for me. Such a perfect day with great friends/family in really fantastic surroudings. Can't wait until Christmas night out! More of this please x

Went to a play there with friends on Saturday 18 March 17. Great night. Terrific venue and although it was very busy bar service was quick and efficient. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely go back.

Had a great afternoon watching the cup final at the weekend on the big screen. The area is very nice, great atmosphere with a nice bar & attentive staff. The BBQ outside area is good too, with a small burger van. I'll definitely pay another visit & to the restaurant upstairs! 😁🙌🏼

Attended a conference here recently snd what a brilliant space, saw it both day and evening and enjoyed both settings. The venue was light and airy with good indoor snd outdoor spaces, friendly staff alongside great artwork to look at from the upstairs bar.

Not far from town 25min walk or 5 min by bus to city centre. Kids friendly and pet friendly

Great place to visit, something for everyone. probably Glasgow oldest market ,open weekend only, worth a visit if it's just for the banter. There are also good pubs within walking distance from the barras like the West Brewery, Saint Luke's all wheelchair friendly.

Amazing atmosphere. Great to walk into a place on a Saturday night to see staff so happy and very welcoming. All stems from what I could see as good management. Manager was also very welcoming and seemed to have good working relations with her staff. Very nice to see. Very nice venue. Will definitely be back

Went to see a band and liked the place. The sound wasn't great but I don't know if that was down to the venue. Has a balcony. Toilets were adequate. Staff around who appeared to have a good handle on things. Would go again for the right band.

Visited here for the Disco Sessions as part of the Melting Pot nights. The venue is easy to navigate and different pockets to explore. Well covered which would help if it was raining although not an issue when I was there. Token system was in operation for the evening and drinks were relatively quick to get. Will be back for other gigs and music nights.

Ultra cool, hip but laid back place in the middle of the Barras. Quite different to anything else in the area - bar and restaurant is quiet during gets lively in the evening. Food is basic but solid and cocktails ok.

Was warm but very nice staff . We had a platter of sea food ( some of the stuff could of been tepid instead of cold like the lobster and mussles but i do under stand why they needed to keep the oysters cold) but only got the sauces near the end . So most of it was quite bland till we got it and only a true sea food lover could tackle it . Other than that it was good
