Brilliant local with a guid mix of friendly punters and staff. Some great live(ly) music nights and big screen sports with a well curated jukebox. Prices are very reasonable for a West End venue. Food is braw home cooking and cheap too (deals for 2 meals), with a kids menu...
I took my Wee boy to breakfast with Santa this morning and he loved every minute of it. There was a very warm welcome from the staff team and the Christmas music was playing very Christmassy. Santa was amazing with the kids, he gave them a lot of time and attention. The food was great and the gift were brilliant. U especially liked the personal touch with the lovely placing name cards so you knew where to sit. My wee boy was delighted with his gift. Over all rating was excellent. Will defo be returning next year if itβs on. Best value for money. Wintergills done well for the kids. Thank u. Xx

This is an old traditional pub in the heart of Glasgow's West End on great western rd. It can be very noisy with its highly male clientele. The atmosphere is old school with a great ambiance and good old homely comfort Service was great, friendly staff and nearly all the food was excellent. The batter on the fish and halloumi was really crispy. Best dish was the sticky chicken fillets which had a lovely tangy taste. The only dish that let down an otherwise excellent feast was the Mac Cheese which was insipid and lacked correct texture and taste.
All in all a good culinary experience.
Had a few beers and sat down during a tour of area. Staff were welcoming, busy but seats in longe and out front available. Good pub with food available,but didn't try this visit.
Nice pub but got barred for allegedly smoking in the toilet when there was no evidence to say it was me considering there was over 100 males in the place who share ONE cubicle. Very frustrated as this was my local
Brilliant pub, with private lounge area that's beautifully styled, great big tele's for sports, cracking service ( even able to order from table on app ) and an emphasis on affordability throughout, whilst prices seem to be on the rise everywhere this place has kept it real. Was in for the football, great atmosphere for the games, big screens around the place don't miss anything, quick service and good selection of drinks, good jukebox aswell

Popped in for a pint. Reasonable prices, pleasant down to earth vibe, noticed there's a jukebox which is always good. Had to dash off but will definitely come back and stay longer next time.

Lovely staff, everytime Ive popped in its to have used their bathroom but their always in deep discussion with their customers aswell as keeping a keen eye on everything. Very accommodating. Lovely & hygienic establishment. I recommend this place for a drink ππ₯
Get rid of the annoying kiddie disco and this is pretty much the perfect pub. Varied patronage from beautiful student lasses to pensioners. Lovely staff. Very friendly place. Good screens for rugby and football. Only negative was the "live music" fiasco down the back

The staff were absolutely fantastic- nice, polite and friendly. Brough a bowl for my dog straight away and their service was to the point. I have received my food really quickly and it was delicious! Also it was very clean and tidy! Definitely a great place for a quick lunch!
