Went for a lovely lunch, staff were friendly despite having some internal arguments with the chef. Food was freshly made tasted great. My nan bread was a little uncooked and soggy. Tried both the starters nachos and mozzarella sticks were both lovely and very filling. Will be back both me and my fia
I personally haven't stayed in hotel but the restuarant is nice an food very good with many options. Service always friendly and served on time.
Got a cheap room so wasn't expecting much.
Was clean and not too much noise from the bar area.
WiFi is usable.
Walkable from the city along one road with regular buses from outside the hotel.
Easy to get to from the M74
This is undoubtedly the best small hotel in Scotland every single one of the staff are excellent even the handy man Walter takes care of his duties the bar staff are very friendly and courteous I will definitely be visiting here again
Just been for a meal after a funeral. Food was very enjoyable, staff were lovely and attentive. Served quickly and efficiently. Toilets were sparkling and clean. All round it was first class. Highly recommended for any occasion.

Down from Aberdeen for a friends wedding, it was a great wedding venue and the whole day was execellent.
