Old College Bar - Glasgow - Photo album

This place was suggested to us by our driver as one of the oldest pubs of Glasgow. It's a nice rustic place. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they don't accept cards.....Old school :)
Voaww, the oldest public house in Glasgow 1500 something, amazing isn't it ? We were there tonight met some wonderful Scottish young men, who were celebrating Elaine's 60th birthday ! It was a private party that we dış not know but we still could join the enthusiastic cross.
Not my first visit here, and every time enjoyable. But last Friday, 2 weeks before charms Christmas, we took our office Christmas pub crawl into here. 17 of us, and what a night... Arrived around 6pm and never left! Bar staff fantastic, even called in the karaoke lady early for us, and wow... Can
This is one of Glasgow's oldest pubs, on the eastern edge of the city centre. It's a real gem. Lots of history. Compact. I've only been in once but I was made to feel very welcome. The regulars have great banter with the bar staff. It's a really good atmosphere. Prices are good. I'll definitely retu
Went for a quite couple of pints here when visiting the city - it was pretty quiet because the football was on but it's just a proper old-fashioned, no frills boozer - but the woman behind the bar was really friendly and up for a lovely bit of chat. Really enjoyed this place and would definitely go
What a pleasure to stumble upon a bar like this one. Elaine sat and talked to my girlfriend and I all night. She told us about traveling, about Glasgow, about the bar, and about herself. Over the years I have traveled and over that time, I’ve realized. A bar isn’t about having a pint, it’s about the
Amazing wee pub...streets ahead of the bars in the city centre that have zero atmosphere...the locals make this place....so friendly....we were in on a quiet afternoon and still had the best time ...the old timers banter is superb...reminded me of still game 🤣🤣🤣🤣cant wait to revisit when I return to
This is the real deal if you're looking for an old style Glasgow boozer. It's all a bit rough and ready, but the service is excellent, the prices affordable and there's a real sense this is a bar which serves a community, even if it is being increasingly displaced and gentrified. Karaoke, live music
Nice cosy old pub, drinks are a good price and staff are great Great atmosphere people all friendly Had my daughters 18th here just a small gathering of close family+some of her pals had a fab night and staff done so much and made it a great night Had many a good night in here 😛😛
Sunday night when barsie and John are on, totally amazing experience, you will never meet or see a band that loves playing as much as these two and the barstaff on Sunday night are brilliant no other bar can ever beat them
Old school, regular commercial Scottish lagers and ales on tap. Good vibes. I was there only because the great Tony Bourdain had been there.
Had a good laugh with family and friends who had taken me out for my birthday. Thought we'd drop in for our last wee swally before going home. We ended up staying till shutting time lol
It's an amazing pub the atmosphere is truly special the entertainment is awesome especially Joe on a sat afternoon won't get this anywhere else on Glasgow the staff are amazing
The more I see of this place the more I like it. Not every ones taste but I like a place where your both looked after by friendly staff + left alone to enjoy the historic feel + the wifi.
Tremendous traditional.Glasgow pub. Not too many left now sadly. Love the place
They friendliest, filled to the rafters with culture and fun, hands down the best pub in Glasgow 😍 👍
Great wee homely place, friendly staff and Fab karaoke nights Friday & Sunday with Tricia x
Cracking wee friendly pub with a great pint. Would certainly return here for a night away from the telly. The bar staff are 10 out of 10.
