SUPERB SHOPPING EXPERIENCE
I do like IKEA but can on occasion get myself lost in it and get frustrated. On this visit I didn't have much time but knew the items I was after if not their location. Immediately on entry, I approached staff member Donald and asked if he could assist. He was brilliant. He took me straight to the desired items, then the quickest way to the till point. The whole visit took only a couple of minutes. It's a good store made even better by that sort of service! Well done!
Ordered furniture for the living room on line. Great prices and had it delivered. Kept updated on delivery. Guys who brought it arrived well within the four hour window I was given. Guys were friendly and helpful. Would certainly order and get delivery again on large items. Off back to the store today to pick up a few more bits. That I can fit in the car.
As you would expect from IKEA you can buy good value flat pack furniture here. There are other homewares available here too which are exceptional value. The restaurant food is very nice with a nice view of the city.
Love ikea bur hate the way the store is laid out
I get lost everytime I go in.. however the staff are lovely people. Very helpful very polite.. nothing is too hard for them. There return policy is fantastic . I love the wardrobe I bought recently its spacious and lively looking, and very reasonably priced. What more can I say. Keep up the good work Ikea
My visits to Ikea are always an adventure. The store is well-organized and takes you on a linear tour through all the sections, making it easy to see everything.
There are nice local touches like a tribute to the Duke of Wellington statue and local art, which give the store a unique feel.
A lot of the furniture in our flat is from Ikea and while putting it together can be a challenge, it is worth it for the cost savings compared to preassembled furniture.
The massive warehouse area has touch screens and self-checkouts, making it easier to find what you're looking for.
Don't forget to stop by the food market before you leave, especially for the plant-based options. The vegan strawberry ice cream is amazing and the plant-based hotdog is full of flavor. Enjoy your trip!
These IKEA stores are great. Many items for your home furnishings to be found here. You can cheap items here if your just getting started or you can pay more for items that will last a lifetime. If your hungry the restaurant is really good but limited to only a few items to eat.
Impossible to leave without buying something, definitely worth a visit even if it’s just for the showroom!
Some very good items and choices here . Other times smaller things I have liked have disappeared & not been replaced with anything acceptable to me.
Restaurant is good value and toilets always clean .
Always a good visit, spotless store, plenty of stock, frozen food products very pricey but can’t argue with takeaway hot dog price!
We have just left IKEA at Braehead Glasgow. What a fabulous service we had a lovely girl called Amy who planned our dressing room nothing was a bother. So pleasant to deal with definitely a 10 out of 10 from us. 👏 👏 👏 👏
Only the second time I have been in an Ikea, so not a regular "yet", but wow this was an impressive building with content for every taste and decor need. Spoilt for choice. Lots of people visiting the site but there is enough space outside and inside to cater for everybody. Stopped in at the cafe for lunch when the nagging kids repeated "We're hungy" for the 500th time!!! Queues were very long but eventually got our food. The food looked and tasted great - reasonably priced too. (Please don't change this!). The ordering process was a little complicated and could not order pick-up stock on the day, only to be told that click-and-collect would only be available the next day. Doesn't help if you come from far away and want to take things home with you. Will have to go online for the items now. Check out was efficient and friendly and staff generally very willing to help. Great retail company at ground level. Will be back again, again, again, again!!
It was just a quick visit to pick up a bedside table this time. We normally enjoy a little meal in the restaurant and wander around upstairs to get some ideas, but for once it was a quick in, get the box and go to the checkout.
I logged into the free IKEA WiFi and looked up the aisle and place numbers. Really easy to navigate the store, and only picked up 3 extra things, not including jam on the way out... unfortunately they didn't have any KAFFEREP in stock, so I almost had to deduct 2 stars for that (joke, but try them if you can they always make an IKEA trip worthwhile)
My children are too old for it now but my eldest used to always enjoy playing in the creche when we went
