Thank you so much to Craig and the staff at the Jenny burn who went above and beyond yesterday to ensure Carnoustie Panmure youth 2003 got fed prior to going to Scotland game. Thank you so much for meeting them at the bus drop off with all there food and even tho it was in take away boxes it was all presented so great and boys really enjoyed their meal. Would defo recommend and will be returning for a meal again thanks again
Been here several times since it opened, and never had a problem with the food. It’s good quality pub grub.
Many people criticise the Service, but most people, and certainly my friend and I, enjoy the fact that we can relax, and enjoy the food without being rushed.
Nothing nicer than a break between courses.
If people want a quick turnaround of food, then maybe they’d be better at MacDonalds, or Wetherspoons, and probably that’s what many are used to, but the food certainly won’t be of the same quality.
Next time I’m up in Scotland, we’ll be back for dinner.
We booked a table for 19:30 on a Thursday night as we weren't sure how busy it would be. Got there and were greeted very quickly by Samantha who asked us if we would like a booth or regular table. The atmosphere was nice and the place wasn't busy but there was a few tables of people to help create a nice noise volume. The food was lovely and well presented. The toilets were immaculate and all staff were very welcoming and friendly to us and other costumers.
Bit of a long wait to get food, but boys were ran off there feet. Nice approachable servers, nothing seemed a hassle for them. Seemed under staffed. Lots of space inside the restaurant. Plenty of food options. Oven fresh pizza is always a winner. Ample parking. Outside seating and child's climbing frame.
Took a wee while to be seated as staff were busy but they were friendly and efficient .
Menu is varied and one of the reasons we went for my sons birthday. My daughter is veggie, her partner is veggie, gluten free and my son can be fussy so the fact that everyone could order something tasty was a real bonus. Food was tasty and well priced.
We took our puppy Gracie(18 months) and she could have something off the doggy menu. There were treats and water bowls available too, which was really great.
All in all we had a lovely time in a really nice pub/restaurant and will definitely be back.
Went in to The Jenny Burn a few weeks ago and it was lovely. We were looking for a nice Saturday lunch and got the three starters for £13 which tasted amazing (and room for desert 😁) We were served by Claire H who was really lovely and pleasant and welcoming. Will definitely be back soon.
Went tonight with my husband after receiving a discount coupon.
We were massively impressed. We both had burgers which were delicious, well presented and really quick off the grill.
The service was superb, better than we've had in many top restaurants. We were shown to our seats and received table service which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were absolutely brilliant, professional and good humoured. Thank you to the lovely server, a gem of a guy.
Premises were spotless and really pleasant and comfortable.
Prices were excellent even before the generous coupon discount.
So glad we popped in, inspired by the discount coupon. We will definitely be back soon. Thanks to the chef for a smashing burger and the server for superb service.

Food is always lovely we go here with our 4 grandsons & they absolutely love it. The staff are always so pleasant & have a lot of patience with the kids. The guy that was on last night sorry not got his name but my grandson who's 6 years old was all excited to see him as last time we were in he had a good laugh with him as he did again last night. We are always given a warm welcome.
We arrived earlier than booked but staff were very accommodating and says this was no problem. We were shown to our seat and was told who our server would be. All the staff were very friendly and down to earth and happy to have a chat (but not to much.... Just enough)
Menu has a good selection of dishes. I had the steak and my sister had the gammon, both were delicious 😋. My mum has special dietary needs and again staff were extremely accommodating which is great as I have been places before that don't understand. So overall I'd say give this place a go.....u won't be disappointed.
The bar was very good with more space to sit with the maximum number of people. The smoking zone and car parking areas are massive and good to chat.
Worth it for the money and to have good wee time with friends and family.
The food was awesome. Skinny Fries and Sweet potato Fries are the best 👌
Came here for lunch today. Amazing food and lovely staff. All staff were great especially Claire H and Stuart who both looked after us very well

Food arrived and was well presented and cooked well. Could not recommend this place highly enough. Everything going for it, excellent staff, food and allows dogs as well as an Osprey charging point in car park. What more could you want. Nothing as staff already offer the best service. Will be back again & again if they keep these standards up. Well done and thanks you for a great evening.
Lovely food and great service.
Price was very reasonable as there were 3 adults and one child.
3 burger and one steak meal were ordered and arrived very promptly with smiles.
We will be back again.

Jenny burn left me 🔥burning🔥 between the legs 🤤 It was that great! The lovely Luke served 💅 while he served us 😈. Half chicken Sunday Roast was Succulent indeed.. Would strongly recommend a visit 😘😘
Booked the restaurant for a baby shower. Staff were amazing and patient throughout the booking process. We were able to set up about an hour and a half before our booked time. Our host, Stuart, was funny and happy to help. He treated the mummy to be amazingly.
Had a wee birthday dinner at jenny' s burn last Saturday. The staff were simply amazing. Special mention to Claire, Lake and Ciara. They were really helpful and accommodate most of the requests received from my husband and children. Very patient and responded fast and professionally to our requests. The food came on time. They ensured that our time there was stress free. Many many thanks again. I can' t recommend the family friendly restaurant enough. Will definitely be going back...x
Our favourite place to go for a family breakfast. Food always excellent quality and the staff are always lovely and super accommodating. Excellent and super friendly service from Claire H this morning. Also the nicest vegetarian sausages I've ever had as part of a breakfast (and I've been a vegetarian for 41 years!).
Me and my boyfriend had a meal the other night and Claire was our server she was amazing making sure our drinks were never empty and making sure our food was good and she had a really friendly vibe about her and added to our evening😃, we love the jenny burn for the food and atmosphere the staff are always lovely and when your done with your meal you can go a walk around the pond try burn some of those calories off🤣also had the best daiquiri in my life from the bar, thanks for always making it a good experience :)
